really been there during the whole Installation so mistakes didn’t happen??? Isn’t that the whole point of paying someone to do the job.. Laundry delivered in wrong colour, I was told by the rep we were dealing with that I was to emotional and rude and hung up on me, yes I was upset because the job was so botched and wrong!!? They completely stuffed up our integrated fridge, had to pay a Professional $1000 to come redo the whole thing, also buy a new fridge as they didn’t put any ventilation in and it overheated and stopped working. The guy fixing it couldn’t believe what they had done. Clearly no experience with anything high end. Cupboards left unfinished, panels missing.. Talk about unprofessional. Installers also SMOKING in our brand new freshly painted house ashing all over our brand new unsealed timber floors and never cleaned up the mess in back on cupboards before installing the pull out pantry so it’s near impossible to get to. I could go on all day but I won’t. Just do yourself a favour and go with a company who knows what they are doing and actually cares about QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

and installers. In fact, several friends also used them for their wardrobes and were similarly impressed and 100 % satisfied. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth regarding our most recent experience with the business. Only positive during this install was the sales guy (Raafat) who was a lovely capable guy. Our problems started when the installer arrived on-site and immediately advised he had a family emergency and needed to leave immediately. Instead of just delaying the job (which would not have been an issue), he proceeded to unload all the materials and place them under the back of the house into mud and wet grass and left site. After several calls to their office asking "what the hell is with leaving brand new wardrobe materials in the mud' and with no communication as to what was going to happen, two new installers arrived within about an hour to complete the job. All good we assumed.....however, these guys (subcontractors no doubt) were probably the worst tradies on the face of the planet (probably only qualified in kaos and mayhem not any trade). These clowns caused at least 8 different lots of damage to walls, doors, architraves when bringing the materials into the house and rooms - no apologies, no acknowledgement, no care - just a shrug of the shoulders and carry on as if nothing happened. After causing all the damage and installing the 3 x wardrobes, they promptly shot off as quick as possible after leaving lots of mess, dirt and mud both on the wardrobes and sliding mirrored doors. Fortunately, besides the wardrobes being dirty, dusty and muddy, the installation of them was a good job -credit where credit is due! After an exhaustive email to Modern Design Wardrobes with attached images of all the damage caused inside the house and requesting to be contacted to work out a solution to all the damage caused by the installers (either send someone to patch up and re-paint the damage, or refund me a couple of hundred dollars so I can arrange someone) I'm totally and 100% ignored with not a phone call, not an email, not an acknowledgement of my absolute legitimate complaint. THIS IS WHAT REALLY INFURIATES ME and has prompted my review here and on other platforms. As a side point, 100% payment was required to be made up front before the installation occurred. I NEVER, EVER do that -however because I was a very happy previous customer of Modern Design Wardrobes I gave them the benefit of the doubt - a decision now I clearly regret as now they have my $3,800 (with no invoice or receipt) they clearly don't care less about the customer, the standard of their installers or in dealing with any complaints. "Grab your money, deny everything and then ignore"....maybe that should be their new catch phrase!! SERIOUSLY STEER CLEAR OF MODERN DESIGN WARDROBES as they have absolutely done a backflip in my previous faultless dealings with them - extremely disappointing :( I'm sure they'll accuse this review of being fake - whatever go your hardest... we all know the truth here :) Please refer to pic of credit card payment as still waiting for an invoice and receipt !!
