Do not trust – No customer service. Googled how to contact and there is no clear way to get in touch... Difficult to withdraw funds. (they want to keep your money in Skrill...)

Absolutely awful – They never respond to anything. The review process just sits there. No correspondence. They just ignore you. They should not be licensed. A cheque would be faster. Avoid at all costs. They can not be trusted and I'd never ever use them again even if I eventually one day see my money again. AVOID!!!!

got a message that I needed to verify my ID? I had already done this using my credit card some weeks prior (they deposit a small amount of money onto the card which you confirm once received) and I had no knowledge that further ID 'may' (as they put it) be required. So, I uploaded ID some 5 days ago creating a 'ticket' which still shows a status of 'new'. Its not even progressed to 'in progress' which is the next step apparently, and you cant escalate your concerns with this delay. If you create a new ticket it is auto-closed if you still have a ticket open! You cant email anyone, or speak to anyone, unless you want to wear the cost of calling their international phone number. I did however try this and got a 'number is not connected' message LOL.

So..my money sits there in their account and I cant touch it. Maybe I'll be able to withdraw it by next month...

A waste of time, faceless, inhuman company that I wont ever be dealing with again.

Shocking! – So bad. I deposited money but have been unable to transfer it out. In order to get it back to my bank account i have to pay them a fee. So basically i get the honor of paying them to hold my money hostage for a few days. There email support is a joke, so do not think the help me button will help at all. Just an all around awful service. Do not use them! Lying cheats. Do not even consider them.

Beware: intermediary bank fees are excessively high and you are not protected against these – I will never recommend moneybookers to anyone ever. I just lost about AUD 500 over 2 transactions totalling AUD 8000 through Moneybookers from Australia to Mauritius. Also it is impossible to control the intermediary fees that we are not protected against. The fine to transfer money is excessive and not worth it.

I used moneybookers / skrill for several months to transfer much smaller amounts but wonder now how much I have lost all this time.

If your withdrawing or sending account is not in the list of countries where they have a bank deal , then dont bother with this service. Even their 2.9% fee is outrageous.

Unreliable to all hell, will forget that you are already verified and refuses to spit out your money – I've gone through many different registrations and authentications with other financial services. authentication withdrawal, they charge you the full withdrawal fee of 1,80 euro. So, after blood sweat and tears, she could finally access the money I had sent her... until recently: Even though her data / bank account has not changed at all, she can't get her money again. Support is slow and sends out standard canned emails "you must verify your account to be able to withdraw money" instead of fixing the problem.

If you want to loose all your hair trying to deal with a service that should just work after you set it up, go try them out.

If you need your money to arrive and be accessible reliably and immediately after its sent, don't use this service

PS. They are renaming to "Skrill" now, god knows why, but "Screwed" would be a better name. cheaper than western union and moneygram, operates in many countries paypal doesn't. unreliable, unhelpful, slow, support, charging withdrawal fees for verification process, if your livelyhood (food/rent) depends on the money being on time, forget it.

Smoke & Mirrors – A transfer of funds has gone terribly wrong, getting some support from Moneybookers is not helpful at all, I can understand their security concerns but there has to be sensible limits Not a Happy Client !!
