Was not informed the movers were coming from Brisbane, for a single parent with limited furniture I wss charged $1000 for a 4 hour move.

On the 14th the office called letting me know there was a mix up with my contact details and I will get a call shortly from truck driver to arrange a pickup time (I was supposed to be called 24hrs before picking up). Although when the truck driver finally called it was to let me know they were waiting at the address now. This was very disappointing as our items where in two location and we needed the notice to move things to one location and wrap items appropriately. Not only this my partner and I were working and needed a heads up. The truck driver was initially very rude, saying he has got to leave, and this was my fault that I didn’t give my number to him. So, he was unable to contact me the day before. When really this was really the responsibility of the office. After multiple attempts of calling the office In Cairns (they are extremely bad at answering phone, always disconnected) I was able to get through and issues was revolved quickly. On Thursday 14th my items were finally picked up and on the way to Gold Coast. On Monday 18th my items arrived! I’m very please on how quickly my things arrived. However, there were missing items (2 boxes, microwave and moving fabric bag) these items where quickly located and dropped to my address the day after! Overall, there was some minor damage on the arrived furniture but of course this was expected! Overall, the truck staff handled my items with care. This is a trustworthy company just needs some work on communication! They also fitted me in on very short notice booking and moved my items at a very affordable price!

Would NOT recommend. Absolutely appalling service!!!! – They never actually booked our removalist even though they said they had so we were left stuck. We paid Move Me Australia a deposit and are still yet to receive it! Do NOT use! Disgusting and very unprofessional service.

NOT recommended, zero communication, no dates or confirmation – We moved a very small apartment with no whitegoods from Melbourne to Adelaide in January 2022. Apparently their work is subcontracted out which we did not know. It was subbied to Crusader Removals who are abysmal, they never reply to emails or to phone calls. Picked up by IBox (some firm based in TAS) who did not have the correct address. Then transferred to another firm who brought it to an Adelaide Depot. We had no idea when our gear was leaving Melbourne or when would be delivered. Multiple attempts to contact Crusader with no response. Multiple attempts to obtain info through Move Me. Eventually received a call on the day of delivery by local Adelaide firm saying coming that day without a time being available. We had gone to work. Had to leave work to receive our goods. Lounge chairs unwrapped despite us carefully plastic wrapping them as instructed. The communication is non existent, you have no idea when gear will be picked up or delivered or who has it along the journey. I would not use Move Me or Crusader EVER again. Would use the local Adelaide delivery firm (Adelaide depot to our home) who were very good, careful and polite.

Endless nightmare - dont go there! – A 2wk pick up & delivery turnaround that became a constantly changed nightmare extending beyond 2 months. Little communication, multiple broken time frames, and enormously costly in terms of wasted time, lost work time, money and favours, in order to address their constant failures

Appalling Move. BEWARE!! – Appalling service, they use bottom of the barrel removalists who are cheap so they can make a profit. Crusaders Removalist is who they used and the company was very very poor. Bullet points below of issues: *they demanded to pickup a day early, I agreed. *stopped 3/4 through and said they were going to leave the rest, said it was more than 10cubes I said it wasn’t as I had measured then they said it was too heavy. *charged me double...by mistake apparently *took 4.5 weeks to deliver stuff from nsw to wa. With appalling communication which involved being told it was arriving every week. *told every different lie and adjustment of truth, one of them being that the original pick up guy was in hospital dying, which wasn’t true! *missing items which they can’t even take down the details correctly let alone finding the items *every item is completely scratched and damaged, fridge scratched, boxes gouged (I diddnt even bother updating them this due to not wasting my breath) *when dropping off the CRUSADERS workers said if a tv in the truck wasn’t ours (which it wasn’t) that they were going to keep it THEFT. *no inventory was kept so they had absolutely no idea what were our items and were bringing in other items which were not ours. * CRUSADERS style of customer service is to LIE, CHEAT and STEAL. MOVE ME REMOVALS have no control over this setup and doesn’t attempt to, just puts hands in the air when problems arise...Zero management of the move.

now. I contacted them several times and could not get through and they didn’t get back to me. I had to go back to Move Me to get the removalist to contact me. Eventually on the day of pickup they contacted me and said they’d be there mid arvo. This kept getting pushed out, they arrived at 9pm. There was three of them, but I ended up doing around 40% of the moving myself to get it done quickly. I also had to smooth over with the property manager as to why a large and loud truck and crew had arrived down a small residential street at 9pm.

Once all my items were down on the street this is 10pm by now I get a call from their boss saying I need to pay his removalists cash or give him my credit card details over the phone before they can take my stuff. I spent over 20 minutes on phone to their boss at 10pm at night asking why I can’t just Move Me in the morning since they are who I booked through, but he would not take no for an answer and was apparently doing me a favour. It’s worth noting that the whole time I was on the phone, the removalists just say by the truck smoking with my stuff just sitting on the street. I very much feel that they would have left everything on the street if I didn’t pay. Their boss was also asking me to pay more that what the balance was and with a credit card surcharge. I was backed into a corner buy these guys and they new it. I had to pay. So now they have my stuff. I’m wondering if I’ll ever see it again.

My next concern was that I would arrive to Adelaide before I did, I followed up on that with Move Me and was assured that it won’t arrive before me (I gave them my arrival date). Several days later I get a call from another removalist in Adelaide (It seems the first subcontractor had subcontracted again) to say my stuff will arrive tomorrow and where do I want it delivered (This was a week before I was even scheduled to arrive in Adelaide). They said they can’t hold it even though I explained I had been assured it would not arrive until after the specified date. It had to be delivered the next day. My friend was gracious enough to take time off work to wait around for this delivery. When the removalists did arrive, it turned out the job had been subcontracted again (that’s 4 subcontracts), and these guys didn’t even know what was mine. My friend had to work it out for them while the previous removalist hounded him on the phone telling him they should be done by now. My Items arrived, several boxes were in bad shape but somehow it did all arrive.

This is the kind of drama you don’t need when you are making a move interstate. I highly recommend you avoid Move Me’s service unless you don’t mind poor communication, blackmail and being stuffed around at every point.

Single article move. (Percussion instrument.) – Moved 4 Octave Marimba (delicate musical instrument) from Adelaide to Cairns without problem. Good communication. Instrument arrived undamaged. Understood necessity of not putting anything on top of the instrument. Happy with service.

Extremely incompetent and unprofessional – Wanted furniture moved from Queensland to Victoria, Was picked up, then heard nothing, also no questions were asked as the access, size of truck needed. We heard nothing until the day of delivery. But this was by a 3rd person. Move me Australia does not have their own trucks they are only brokers. Because of the lack of transparency and communication. Our goods could not be delivered, so we had to pay an additional $800 and a day off work to hire a truck and pick up our goods from the sub contracted companies storage which was 100 ks away . DO NOT GO WITH THIS BUSINESS. Choose a company that actually owns and operated their own trucks. If this had of been disclosed to me at the start l would never of gone with them. The queensland office did not even give me the courtesy of letting me know of additional cost, she just in an email referred to the other company and would not answer my calls.

Be warned - avoid at all costs – Quoted (and paid MoveMe account) according to an itemised inventory, but then was charged much more by the sub-contractors based on ‘cubic metres’ at time of pick-up. the initial quote. Drop-off day/time also kept changing by as much as 12 hours at the last minute, due to truck back-filling as it travelled. Booked with MoveMe but ended up trying to deal with the subcontracted company, who was demanding the additional money before it would unload. Some damage to our fridge, and one box missing. Labourers themselves were pleasant and worked hard once arrived.

they were far from the professional & courteous removalist that we’d hoped for! Everything was rushed, unorganised and zero internal communication between their drivers and their office etc. As a result 2 major items of ours were damaged due to zero care being taken and could have been easily avoided. They are now taking NO responsibility for their actions and hiding behind their paper work. Move Me Australia spoke extremely rude to us and their customer service skills are appalling. What ever happened to owning up to your mistakes and being a decent human being. Not a happy customer and I worn others of using either of these company’s!!

Great easy service and well priced – Me and my partner moved from Sydney to Brisbane from a 2 bedroom house with significant amount of furniture. The guys were super helpful when they arrived and were always in communication along the way. I would recommend move me Australia to anyone looking to do a local or interstate move for sure. Just make sure you know how many cubic metres of stuff you have as that can put additional stress on you.

Awesome! Fantastic service – We had a big move from Brisbane to Victoria. Simone was fantastic. The original contractor turned out to be very unreliable and changed the moving date twice leaving us no option but to cancel. Simone was able to organise another contractor for the same price within 1/2 hour. This was late on Friday arvo with moving date set for Monday. Can not speak highly enough of her and the company. Everything went smoothly and the service was fantastic.
