Does not respond to phone calls, emails or online form submission. Refuses to supply Tax Invoices or accept return miss-supplied / miss-ordered product. Terrible experience, it seems very shonky substandard service and parts.
Wish I'd read these reviews. Same issue, items not sent, no response from seller. I got an immediate refund from PayPal.
Follow-up · Update: purchased the parts elsewhere, received them, fixed my mower. Several days after, I received the original package from MSD. I contacted them to arrange a return (didn't need to fix the mower twice) but a month later and I still haven't heard from them.
Should have read reviews before making purchase. After paying via Paypal didn't hear a thing. Tried phoning and messaging zero response. Paypal refunded my money. Keep well clear of this obviously unreliable shonky company.
Do not use these guys i have not recieved my order and have lodged a dispute with my bank
Disgusting service!! Ordered a belt 7 days ago, paid for express postage as part needed urgently. Still no tracking number, no response to multiple emails.. Do NOT waste your time or money..rip off company!
Almost certainly a scam, ordered on 6/11/25, followed up after not receiving anything 24/11/25 via email, phone call unanswered 1/12/25 so initiated a chargeback from my credit card. Will definitely be forwarding the details to the appropriate authorities.
I figured for the price id give this company a go for my greenfield belt, couldn't been more happier fast postage and pretty decent quality belt brand name, not sure why all the bad reviews... definitely will use this company again in the future.
Ordered some filters and paid for Express Post. Not received after 3 days. Contacted by email. No reply. Aus Post says was delivered over a week later. It was not. Contacted seller. No reply. got refund from PayPal. Suggested they withdraw service to this shonky company.
Purchase a deck belt for my Greenfield, sent the wrong one. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails. Put in dispute with PayPal and they refunded me the money. Avoid this business!
Less than 1 star - they are scammers the guy that owns the company name lives in Lismore - doesn't respond to emails for phone calls - when I catch him watch out (I have his home address!!) and he will regret not responding. I will tell the world what a low life "Eli McCarthy McDermott" on every form of media I can get hold of ....You should have given my money back!
Do not purchase anything from this company. They sent 1/3 of my order, which wasn't as described or the quality required. They are a cheap cheap quality which i wouldn't trust to use. Now they refuse to take calls or respond to emails. This is a scam sites.
Bait & switch advertising Mower Spares Direct – Advertises high quality parts from reputable mower wholesalers. You think you're buying & paying for quality replacement parts & posts out cheap chinese knock off rubbish . Wont answer email or phone calls. Will be contacting ACCC & NSW Fair Trading in relation to fraudulant bait advertising Buyer Beware .......
Don't shop at mowersparesdirect.com.au – Looks like this is a scam website. You can no longer pay by Paypal as others have mentioned so no recourse to recover the money. Claims to be a mower spares shop but is in fact an internet scam site.

Quick delivery and as ordered – Ordered parts for a TORO zero turn mower on Sunday, delivered by Auspost on the following Friday. Parts were as described.
This is a scam – Paid for part. Got no notification. No part delivered.Emailed and called several times. No reply to either. No Part. I will be calling the bank to report fraud to recoup payment. I will be reportg this website to ACCC Very Poor effort Elimc Design
