Very happy vegemite – My old brittle terracotta roof posed an initial challenge for Chris to access the evaporative cooler, but he built a permanent structure and replaced my old cooler in a day with a swanky new one. A professional job and great price. Chris also wrote a detailed and factual report that enabled my insurance claim to be successful. Affordable quality air conditioning – We needed an air conditioner in a hurry and one that did not bust the bank. Got 3 quotes and Mr Clean air was the best by a country mile. it works, we went with the evaporative unit which i was sceptical about but was assured would do the job. You don’t even realise it’s a hot day until you go outside. The evaporative unit cools the whole house and uses less electricity than the portable which barely did one room. Can’t recommend these guys enough for their knowledge and fair pricing. It’s hard to find honest businesses these days but these guys tick that box. I have and will continue to tell all my friends about this great business. Thanks mr clean air.

think I would be able to get my new unit until well into January. Mr Clean Air went out of their way to get hold of the unit and fitted it this week. A fabulous job and now I have cool house again. Glad to have supported a family business who care about their customers and the work they do.

Very poor service, wouldn’t recommend – Payed $130 for a ducted service, [Name Removed] was to lazy to run a hose from the garden tap up to the roof and asked to plumb a service tap at the A/C for a extra $37 so I said yes. opinion (Wiping his hands from any wrong doing, when I believe he should of come and double checked his work… as any decent business would do). After a heated discussion on the phone he decided that he would return and placed a pressure reduction valve on the A/C and dribbled on about the A/C needing further work (All about trying to milk $$$). The valve was worth $50 from bunnings and he charged $230 for 15 minutes labour. I told him that I didn’t want him doing any further work and called a second company to come look at the job, the new company came and picked faults in his work, rectified the problem (being a stuck float). When telling [Name Removed] this he dribbled more lies and was not at all negotiable on the $280 bill for doing barely anything… Lots of guess work, no pride in his work and all about fleecing the customer, save your money and utilise another company… Mr Clean Air will never go near any A/C of mine, and I will never recommend that business to even my worse enemy. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE PRICES… do not waste your time.

Great service. They know their stuff – We have used Mr Clean Air from mid 2000s. They looked after our existing evaporative air conditioner until it gave up the ghost. stop working, we didn't hesitate to contact them with our heating requirements. Chris came and discussed all available options to us and costings involved. They professionally installed a ducted gas heating system which now keeps us warm in all rooms and not just the living room under the old system. The heater is regularly serviced and I wouldn't trust anyone else with the work.

Fantastic service – Chris and Lucy have looked after our family with air con and heating for over 12 years. They are very honest and reliable and nothing is too much trouble. I’d happily refer them to friends and family. A great local SA owned and operated business.

The Worst Ever Experience – The WORST EVER experience in Adelaide. I called Mr Clean Air to repair the evaporative aircon which was leaking about a litre per minute. As the job was quite urgent i could not adjust my working schedule and asked my 19 yo son to wait for the service man. Adrian from Mr Clean Air came the same day and went up to the roof a few times. didn’t open the cube on the roof, told my son that such aircon should leak (never happened in the previous 10 years), took $132 cash and disappeared. The job was not done, no report was presented. I called Mr Clean Air’s office the same day asking for clarifications. I spoke with Lucy but got an sms from Chris later who promised to come the next day. Chris didn’t show up. Never. He sent me another sms the day after saying that he would come later during the week. He also wrote to me that from Adrian’s report (I have never seen any report from Mr Clean Air) he assumed he would have to replace some aircon parts which would cost me $574. Sounded like cheating. As Mr Clean Air behaved unreliable I didn’t want to use their service anymore and asked Chris to return money which was paid for Adrian’s visit. Again, Adrian even didn’t try to repair the aircon but said it should leak! A litre per min!!! Chris fired up saying that I should reduce my expectation and be satisfied with what I got for my money. He and Lucy both repeated the same to my son who called their office later to clarify the situation. After all I said Good Bye to my $132 and called another service company which quickly fixed the leakage for $70 without any parts replacement. Feel the difference! Never use Mr Clean Air, NEVER!!! The company seems to employ inexperienced and untruthful technicians, their prices are well above the market and Lucy in the office is extremely rude!
