the best man for the job – I have used Darren of Mr Plumber before for a blocked drain and was pleased with the service. This time I had a leak in the toilet cistern and couldn't turn off the isolation valve. Mr Plumber supplied and installed a new cistern (I knew I needed one) and installed a new isolation valve and flexi hose all at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Darren and team to anyone north of the river with plumbing problems. Top quality tradesmen, thorough, polite and on time. Thank you Darren and Mike for a job well done.

Excellent, prompt service! – Daren was able to help our blocked sewerage pipe with his magic machine. He was on time, handled the problem with ease and was very knowledgeable. Daren found our sewer cap under 20 years of lawn on his first dig. We were very happy with the high standard of work and the end result with flowing pipes again! I'm enjoying hot showers again – Just had Daren replace our 22 year old gas storage water heater. I was very happy with the job he did. His website lists prices for different types of gas water heater, which gave me confidence that I wasn't going to get quoted something ridiculous. When I called to enquire, he actually downsold me! He recommended a cheaper model than I asked for! I'm not used to this kind of treatment!

He assured me that it was just as good, and when I later checked out the specs, I was able to confirm this.

I also wanted a tempering valve fitting, and he gave a firm price for this.

When he arrived on site, I mentioned that the water isolation valve was broken, and he again gave a firm price for this.

He took out the old heater, then needed to do a bit of digging and levelling to get the slab in the right position, and then installed the new gas water heater. He took away the old unit and packaging and left everything clean and tidy.

Total time was less than 3 hours, total cost was $1300 for a Vulcan 135L Gas Storage Hot Water System plus extra valves and piping.

I was very happy with that.
