Be careful – These are good swaddles but I wouldn’t recommend to use them for babies that wriggle loads. We woke up to sounds of struggle coming from our daughter and the Velcro part was completely over her head. If we hadn’t woken up she’d be gone! Show details

Best swaddle I've found – We have every kind of swaddle you can think of in our house, you name it we've tried it. This is the one we come back to every night, it snug, can't ride up over baby's face, easy to use and long enough baby wont grow out of it in a hurry. The only downside is it takes ages to dry due to having so many layers. Baby sleeps for longer in this… Read more

swaddle than any of the others we've tried, I think as it can't come undone too easily. Would happily recommend to everyone!

Perfect sleep every night with it – Mum2mum dreamswaddle is easy to use, the velcro makes the baby feels snug and secure. the zip goes both ways making nappy changing fast and easy when it needs to be done during night feeds (without waking the baby up). I have tried a few swaddles - traditional swaddling, egobaby swaddles, groswaddles and nothing beats mum2mum swaddle! He is 3… Read more

months and is still using them at night. I believe the swaddle is the reason why he sleeps longer at night (5-6 hours). The swaddle is too warm in hot summer but if you can buy the summer version online. I own 3 mum2mum swaddles and 1 summer swaddle. It is awesome!

Best swaddle – I have tried many swaddles and this is by far my favorite. I wish I bought more. The only bad thing is after the first wash the Velcro wasn't as good as when I got it. I wish the Velcro patch was larger so I have an option to make It tighter. In saying that it still works really well Everything Velcro could be better. If you don't wrap it low enough it could cover bub face but that is easily avoided.

only bad thing is i don't have 2 of them!!! – Had a baby who forgot how to sleep after having reflux then bronchiolitis. The dummy also had caused all sorts of problems. This wrap got my baby from sleeping only an hour at a time at night and only 15mins in the day to 10 hours at night and 2 two hour sleeps in the day. Impossible for him to get his hand free. Which means a calm baby who can… Read more

resettle himself. He is just over 8kg and 4 months old and loves it. Wish i'd had it for my other 2 children who were wrapped till they were nearly 7 months old. Great price and the 3 layer effect over the arms makes sure they stay down, unlike the ergo cocoon which frustrates him because he can still move his arms too much. Also like that's it's pretty much foolproof to put on. You have to make sure you wrap it slightly lower than you think and leave the legs in or else it can ride up over their mouth. I find once i do the zip up i fold it under so it doesn't go near his face. I also find it very warm because of all the layers. Would only use in summer with an air con.

OK – I love the concept and being desperate, I thought this would be the answer. But it's really too warm. I often wonder if she wakes from being too hot in this swaddle. The design also seems unresolved. If it can easily ride up, no parent would have an easy nights rest worrying about the safety of their baby. But it is very secure and definitely… Read more

keeps baby nicely wrapped. A very secure swaddle especially for babies that seem to get out of every other swaddle. The triple reinforcements of arms tucked in first, then the swaddle gets zipped and lastly the velcro wraps are done up provide peace of mind that baby won't be escaping! Easy to use also, but takes some practice to get the desired firmness. Have purchased many other wraps and after velcro failing after a short time on one SwaddleMe & another having too much stretch Ergo Cocoon, it was time to try this really secure wrap. I also think many baby products designed in NZ are very good & practical. My daughter sleeps in this wrap for daytime and nighttime sleeps, so it's well used, but would only be a month and a half old. The velcro is starting to show signs of loosing its grip, which concerns me. Unless the wrap is pulled down properly at the feet to ensure no bagging around the middle before the velcro wings are secured, the swaddle can ride up around bubs mouth! I woke to check bub one night and to my horror, the wrap was close to covering her mouth even though it was firmly fastened around her body! Not a great product recommendation for SIDS! I also find that I am constantly checking her temperature when she's sleeping as the swaddle has so many layers and easily gets hot. Especially her arms as they get tucked close by the body, so often when I wake her and release her arms they are extremely hot. If she is in a full jumpsuit, with the dreamswaddle on, she is often hot with a light cotton blanket over her...and that's in a Melbourne winter!! The manufacturer really needs to consider having two weights as this is something that I won't be able to use in Spring and definitely not in Summer. The neck binding is also too wide, hence the problem of the swaddle covering the chin if not put on tightly and extremely carefully each time.

Excellent – I am very happy I bought this after looking at all the other wraps on the market. It has wings to secure bubs arms then it zips up like a sleeping bag and then also has outer wings that wrap around bub to make them even more secure. Depending on the weather I might just pop her in without securing her arms and then just use the outer wings to keep… Read more

her arms down other times I might secure her arms and then tuck the outer wings under her bassinet mattress so she only has the 1 layer over her body on those hot nights. I wouldn't buy anything else and in the process of buying a larger size! Easy to use (even my husband can use it properly!). It can be used a number of different ways for different weather conditions (although I worked this out myself and not by the manufacturer) Great patterns. Very cheap compared to others on the market. Although its 100% cotton I still find my bubs gets quite warm with it on. The velcro it quite load to undo while bubs is asleep, maybe having some kind of clasp instead would have been better to secure it?
