Worst ever and goes off fast – WHY IN QUEENSLAND HAVE DOG FOOD IN METAL TRAYS THAT GET HOT AND GO OFF. The is nothing good in these little cute tins. My dogs won’t eat it anymore and now I know why. It goes off super easy. It’s full of salt and hardly any real meat whatsoever. It eventually makes their skin itchy, paws brown and teeth rotten. And yeah, I’m sick of buying it. Show details
AVOID – Chunks of what appears to be rubber crumbs solidified in the mix. Doesn't look or feel digestible, batch doesn't expire until 2026. Makes me think they're adding rubber to the mix of dog food.
can not stand the smell of this dog food – this dog food is very convenient but every time I open it I gag can no longer feed it to my dog. Show details
No problems so far – My girl has half a tray of My Dog, some times a full tray, mixed with a variety of cooked vegetables at evening meal. I don’t buy the tins. She has a variety of protein for breakfast, plus raw bones. A balanced diet plus Royal Canin kibble if she bothers. No tummy upsets, normal faeces and she cleans her bowl. It’s all about the balance. fussy dog saviour – HI, I tried so hard with other brands, expensive brands to get my toy poodle puppy and tiboodle puppy to eat. I did everything, got a fortune, I have for 10 months and 9 months suffered, doing everything to get them to eat a good meal, steak, everything. the trauma of trying to make a little dog eat food that is supposedly the best for them, or see them suffer with hunger, MYDOG is the best, it has to be the taste.
Terrible food in cans, mould, plastic particles – Beef canned my dog food from Woolworths. 5 out of 8 cans contained mould looking stuff through the meat, Plastic particles also in 2 cans. money, this company is disgusting service as I tried calling though they never answer the phones. shows they don't care. Avoid this product, I've seen others with objects in the food reviews also. Now I have to return another 18 cans to Coles as I cant trust the dog food..
lots of jelly substance/ found cans with black stuff in the meat – my dog likes the beef canned my dog food but a lot of the cans are over done with jelly substance so maybe only getting 3/4 of a can of food once the jelly is removed, Also some cans have Black sections in it, I'm not sure what it is, it looks like mould starting up but cannot be certain and is usually in the middle of the meat can, I throw these… Read more
cans out as the black parts do not look right. Also the cans are still in date of usage. so considering taking all the jelly out which I feel is a preservative to stop the food going off and the black parts through the meat sometimes, I wont buy these again, shame as my dog likes these cans. Note; not all the cans I purchased have the black parts through the meat, though quite a few had it. if I see something black in my dogs food or it don't look right there's no way am I feeding to my dog.
Plastic cap in the food – Found a plastic cap in the MyDog Classic Lamb we got from Costco. Luckily I saw the dog eating and chewing on it and forced him to spit it out. Not sure how much of the plastic was consumed by him. I tried to contact them through their website, but the website itself fails to load. Guys, please stay away from this disgusting product.
Dog seems to love it – My dog seems to enjoy the gravy ones. He isn't too fond of the meatloaf. The chicken one upset his tummy and he ended up throwing it back up again, so I will probably avoid that flavour. Show details

Okay for mixing – We use my dog chicken supreme I don't think the quality is very good but we just add it to a quality dry food because the dogs seem to like the smell, just watch out for the quality control as the freshness does vary I would definitely not feed my dogs just my dog as its not good enough .
Dog won't eat anything else – My title says it all. My little furry baby won't eat any other wet dog food apart from my dog. He loves it and refuses to eat anything else. I've even tried tricking him! I usually stock up on these on sale as he can usually eat 2 trays for dinner as 1 doesn't fill him up. There's a really good range so he never gets bored of the same flavours. he especially loves the gourmet beef flavour and there's never any leftover on the plate.

asked to send it back. I thought they were kidding. I stated that I did not want a refund and they should recal all their products everywhere. I cannot see this anywhere. Went to my vet and stocked up on their food, because I knew that it would be ok.
New tubs making dogs sick – Have used My Dog for years and have had no problems in April tried the new gravy type trays and both dogs had gastric did not realise until a friend staying with us had the same problem .Have used original one since with no problems .Brought one of the casserole type again for them to share and they got sick again going back to the loaf type food
crap – the little my dog trays are only sloppy crap in disguise, will stick with aldi equiverlant and dogs will be better off
What A Surprise!! – When I opened a tray of my dog 100g beef & liver, I was shocked to see a piece of glass in it, upon removing the piece, I found it to be perspex or thick plastic, I rang the company and was told, do not swear... They think, as pet owners, we are supposed to calm when their product could have had very serious consequences, not going to happen. Will never buy another product of this company.. Get your lawyer ready..
Perfect for the pampered pooch – I love these trays because you know exactly how much your dog is getting each meal. My little dog loves these trays and considers them a real treat, though we don't give them to her all the time as they are a bit pricey.
has recipe changed – My lady is nearly 2 and has always eaten My dog trays. Lately she just wont eat it. have changed anything in the recipe.
Awful, high in salt, limited nutritional value – My dog itches like crazy after eating My Dog (pardon the pun) and any other cheap supermarket foods. Terrible runny stools and bad breath as well. Wont touch it. Poor nutrition, bad breath, runny stools, caused itchy skin
Convenient! – A convenient solution for a pampered pup. A good portion size so you know what your dog is getting. Seems to be of high quality. Convenient Expensive compared to tin
