My Private Sale

A Scam – Stole money via a credit card (did not supply purchased goods) then followed up with monthly theft as (I see now) that others have experienced. Went quiet then charged a big amount as "Yearly subscription". Credit card cancelled. I can only conclude: fraud.

Beware – Ordered item from them which has not arrived to date. Next thing received message that I had become a member and liable to membership fee of $49.95 a month. Sent email to cancel membership but no reply received. Had to cancel credit card so not further deductions would occur

Order not received – I placed an order on 24 November 2021. Order status still showing as 'order placed'. I have sent 5 emails requesting information and to this date, (Jan 10 2022) have not heard a word from them.

Don’t even bother with this company – I placed an order 6 weeks ago and it is yet to be shipped. I’ve emailed four times asking where my order is, with no response. This company are a bunch of scammers - don’t waste your money or time.

Non-delivery of Order – Ordered online. Apart from confirmation of Order, the Order was not delivered and several emails were not responded to. No contact support.

Scam of the My Private Sale website – I had the similar experience after the charge of the goods and debited my credit card of $49.90 for the membership of the club. I did not come across the terms and found that they are very sneaky and have the cheated feeling from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! Will lodge my complaint to Dept of Fair Trading later

Scam - You Are Joining A "Club" With Monthly Fees – A following e-mail, after my order confirmation, informed me that I was now a member of a "Club". When I read the Terms and Conditions I found that My Private Sale was exonerated from virtually everything. Became wary and Googled "Scam My Private Sale". Cancelled my order and am changing but Credit Card but doubt I will get away without being hit with a joining fee. My advice is if a seller doesn't accept Paypal don't purchase from them.

It's a scam – ordered and paid for knee pads but never received them. Looks legit but is not. Don't get caught block them on face book

Basically a scam – Free shipping doesn't mean that at all. They will debit nearly $50 from your account each month. Avoid this company. I have now been blocked from their Facebook page for mentioning this.

This is a Scam. They steal money from your account every month – WARNING - THIS IS A SCAM!!!. They will automatically enrol you in a "club" and take $49.90 out of your account every month. They did not reply to my request to stop and ended up having to cancel my credit card

Private Sale (my-privatesale.com) and they said by ordering through them and accepting the default T&Cs of shipping, I am automatically signed up to their membership scam of $49.90 per month. I went back and checked my order confirmation and all emails from them. Nowhere in any email did My Private Sale (my-privatesale.com) say "You have been subscribed to our membership program" - the only thing My Private Sale (my-privatesale.com) said was "As a member of My Private Sale you get exclusive access to deals" - The same generic message you get on every order you place with any retailer who automatically sign you up to their member list.

Nowhere in any email did I receive a sign-up confirmation email for the membership program. Nowhere was I asked to confirm acceptance of the membership terms and conditions Nowhere in any email did they provide an option to unsubscribe from the membership program. The only way I found out was by monitoring my credit card statement and seeing an additional charge. My Private Sale (my-privatesale.com) is a SCAM.

I have not received my original order yet either - I can only assume that there is no such product and the whole enterprise is a scam...

Do not buy – I saw the Washing Machine Feet ad on Facebook to stop Washing Machines from "walking around" and as we have the same problem followed the link. their "MY PRIVATE SALE CLUB" for a monthly fee of that amount as I accepted the Free Delivery at the checkout the week before. BE AWARE - DO NOT BUY from them - this to me is fraud and I have disputed the amount and written to them to STOP ALL - which is what they say "how to unsubscribe" despite never having knowingly subscribed to it in the first place. I finally received the items yesterday and placed under the machine - but guess what - IT STILL MOVES/WALKS AROUND - no different to before. The "suction cups" are not curved enough to actually do any suction to the floor - and we have tiled floor so very smooth and should work - but doesn't. Can't return them as their policy states that item must be UNUSED and in ORIGINAL PACKAGING - which we don't have no longer. Each item was in a little plastic bag and all 4 bags in an Australia Post bag. How can I know whether item works unless I try it - what a lot of rubbish. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - VERY BAD!!!!!
