249$ Harris Scarfe. My only real complaint is with Harris Scarfe trying to tell me it was $990 off due to their grand opening. Trust me I knew the deal wasn’t that good and I googled prices, but it’s a dodgy sales tactic none the less!! Ok back to the Bot!!! Most people are paying around $250 for it, so I don’t quite get the complainers who are… Read more

going on about a lack of mapping functions. Well sorry robo vacs are routinely $1500-2500, so what do you want for your $250? The suction is brilliant at 1800Pa. Nice long brushes for skirting boards. Battery life is plenty long enough, and when it senses it’s going flat it will self dock which is funny to watch. It also slows down near furniture and people and speeds back up again when it’s no longer an obstacle. For something that is navigating by sheer guess work, I think it’s reasonably intuitive. It makes some odd decisions sometimes, like does half an area and then buggers off elsewhere, but it comes back and finishes the job! I’m not sure what programming that is but hey…again we are talking $249 on something that otherwise performs very well. I can see why mapping is important, I probably won’t let it run when im not home…mainly because if it gets into an area of the house I’m not prepared for, it might get some cables and the like…if it were mapped I could trust it to one area but this one really is a bit of a bump and go situation. But like I said it gets everything eventually and battery life is long enough for my medium sized house. Also does a good job on carpet. Now I hear they can glitch after a few months, I can’t speak to that but Harris Scarfe staff prewarned me and said a swap over with receipt is no issue. And apparently MyGenie customer care is good as long as you are contacting the correct country team. The mop wasn’t bad either! I mean it can only use the pressure it has in terms of the machine weight, but it’s great for an everyday clean. Long of the short, I work rotating shift, my husband also works dodgy hours, the vacuuming is the kids job and I can tell you that’s a term I use loosely, so the floors always looks rubbish till I get around to it. I now have floors that are always in a satisfactory condition for those surprise guests and for my own sanity. Moral of the story, expect a $250 product and you will NOT be disappointed. If you are paying $250 and expecting a Roomba….well sorry guys…that’s not how life is. If it does glitch in an unacceptable timeframe I will post. And yes I do plan to buy a mapping one in future but I think I’m happy enough now, so I’ll let this one live out its life expectancy and make sure I like robovac life without breaking the bank! As I said he doesn’t always make sense but let it go and it will do it all eventually, don’t expect to understand him on his first round or two lol! And if he gets flat as I said he will self dock…Suction very good though regardless. Although misses 90degree corners, but let’s face it, we are trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. The connectivity to phone was annoying but just follow the instructions and you’ll work it out. Personally I won’t be using that function anyway. All in all good purchase. Happy enough for the money, and thanks for making it this far if you did!

Easily my most favourite company for outstanding customer service! (ABM Global are the mother company to my understanding) I had purchased my robot vac on special through Spotlight (let's not address THEIR customer service here...) and after 8 months of blissful enjoyment of having a robot vac our beloved 'Robie' suddenly stopped working,… Read more

seemingly to do with one of the front brushes not wanting to turn, so the vacuum would then beep and not operate. After getting in touch with ABM they double checked I'd done all the trouble shooting, and gave me a way to upload any photos or videos I had of the issue. Within just 3-4 emails they sent me the most incredible reply ever: "Thank you for getting back to us.

We're sorry to hear that the troubleshooting steps didn't resolve the issue.

Please know that I've already processed a replacement for you.

Here is the tracking number: C---------1 Courier Please

Your replacement will be dispatched within 1-3 business days. As long as there are no delays with the courier, it should arrive within 5-7 business days from the dispatch date.

Thank you and I hope you have a great day ahead!"

I was gobsmacked! I sent them a big thank you email because seriously everyone I corresponded with was so lovely and straightforward, and then to be offered a replacement just like that (upon confirmation the vac had stopped working of course) and have it shipped out to me.

So so in awe of their fabulous customer service and honesty as a company.

Also the vacuum is pretty decent too lol

I haven't gotten to try other brands as this is my first, but I am satisfied with the job it does. It's entertaining to watch it bumble about the place (it's the non programable version), and I haven't tried out the mopping function yet, but it does get around our place eventually and saves me a lot of time on extra cleaning. It handles swapping from tile to carpet with no issues, can get over very small ledges, and sometimes even slightly bigger ones. It will auto shut off and beep for your attention if it sucks up any long cords or other item it shouldn't, and it's really easy to extract any unfortunate items back out and start it running again. We have guinea pigs, a toddler, and an enthusiastic hair shedding adult in the house, so it has a reasonable job cut out for it. In summary: Easy to clean, straight forward to use, does the job!

I purchased this unit from Spotlight. It went for about 12 months but now it continues to stop every couple of minutes and needs to be restarted. The cleaning schedule will not work when programmed in as per the manual. I have sent two emails to their customer support with no replies. I have also tried to purchase a new battery, thinking that this… Read more

will help, but they are not easily available (triangular prism shape) I would not recommend this unit. Pay a few hundred more for a Eufy (better vacuum, easier to program and customer service respond to requests).

False advertising – The box it comes in shows room mapping features available through the app, however this model does not support room mapping. False advertising at its finest.

good little machine for the price – great little vacuum, does the job. doesn't have a smart mapping function though, so it bumps into things and you just have to kind of leave it and hope it gets everywhere you want it to. Usually it does if you leave it on long enough (my house is around 120sqm total, and I usually have it clean most of the house when it's on). I don't use the… Read more

mopping function so I can't really comment on that. yes it gets caught on things, but I think that's normal for a robot vacuum cleaner, you just have to clean up things off the ground before turning it on. Dog and cat hated it at beginning but both got used to it.

Won't even charge up – You can tell its cheap and nasty the second you start reading the instructions with their many mistakes such as bad spelling and missingspacesbetweenwords. I took it out of the box and tried charging. It charges for about 20 seconds then gives 6 beeps 3 times which apparently means it has the wrong charging power pack. If I unplug the power pack and plug it back it it will repeat the 20 second charge. It's going back for a refund tomorrow. Show details

Waste of money – Takes over 2hours to do an area that my robovac did in 50mins. It has no method zigzags everywhere and misses spots. I have a tiled floor with good clearance around everything, however it still manages to hit the furniture. Show details

Negative experience, bad support follow up for a product fault less than a year with minimal use – Contantly need charging all the time, it does half a small room(3x4) then needs charging, i can live with that as I just let it do it's thing. I use it for dust under the beds mainly once a month. Less than a year later, the battery won't charge anymore. Battery lights keep flashing. Won't charge from direct cable either. Tried contacting… Read more

support ABM Global Customer Service <customerservice@abmglobal.co> and told to fill in an online form https://www.abmglobal.cloud/ and upload proof of purchase, add fault details, photos etc. Two weeks later I only hear crickets.

It's ok – The was very well priced. Its does a pretty job but I didnt realise it doesn't map the area or work from a phone app. I would definitely look for those features next time I buy. I have dropped tissues in awkward areas to check where is goes to and it has always picked them up, so I am reasonably confident it is covering most of the aare. The mopping feature is just a light run over. Show details

Heading straight for the returns – Won't charge so maybe it's fine if it works. I have no way of knowing, beeps 6 times while flashing red. Nothing in the manual about that, charged overnight and woke up to the same flashing red light. Back to the seller it goes. Show details

My Valuable Helper – I’ve had my Xsonic for over a year and he is so good. He collects so much animal hair that’s been hiding out of sight as well as cleaning the floors perfectly. He works hard, going for approx 90 mins, then puts himself back to bed. I don’t use the mopping feature very often as I have an iRobot mop but when I have it does a reasonable job on my glossy floor tiles. I love this machine and highly recommend it. Show details
