In my opinion, MyPayNow is by far the best short-term loan/wage advance provider on the market! This is because of the following reasons:
- No credit checks required! They have a fast and easy application process that securely accesses your bank statements online to automatically verify your wage amount and ability to repay the loan. Applying for or taking a loan from this company does not show on your credit report or have any impact on your credit score. The application is processed instantly.
- Funds transferred and available instantly through OSKO 24/7. So long as your Bank supports OSKO instant transfers, the funds will be available in your account immediately. If your bank does not support OSKO, the funds are still transferred to your account immediately but may need 1 business day to clear and become available for use.
- Very straight forward fee structure with no hidden fees or charges. This is where the service really stands out compared to their competitors. They simply charge a single, flat rate of 5% on top of the amount borrowed which is repaid by direct debit on pay day. There are no late fees, direct debit dishonour fees, default fees, surcharges or any other hidden fees applied, even if you miss a repayment!
If you are struggling financially to repay the loan on pay day, you can easily nominate to either delay the repayment or split the repayment over two pay cycles in the app. There’s no extra fees for nominating to do this. If you’re still struggling and neither of those two options are sufficient, then their friendly customer support team is available to discuss other repayment options with you. Early repayment of the advance can also be processed in the MyPayNow app.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with MyPayNow and have had a very smooth experience each time I’ve used them over the years. After using MyPayNow for the first time and creating an account, there is no need to submit a new application or fill out details to use them again. If you need another wage advance in the future, all you need to do is select the amount you’d like to borrow in the app and it is transferred instantly.
I know this review has been quite long but I hope others may find its information helpful. In what is usually a market full of predatory lenders, MyPayNow stands out as an honest and reliable lender which I trust to be there for me if I ever need some emergency funds.

It's the My Pay Now app that's faulty. One person at help centre said they would recall if I paid them on that day. Didn't see email reply until after the day. whenever your payday arrives. That means for every $50 you withdraw with their app, you’ll only pay $2.50 (subject to change without notice and excluding any default fees thereafter).
I find applying for MyPayNow is very simple and straightforward. For anyone curious, there are no credit checks involved so it won’t affect your credit rating. You’ll need basic information like ID, phone number, email address, employment details etc.
MyPayNow does not get in contact with your employers. This is all done with sending bank statements that shows where your salary is coming in. This all takes a couple of minutes, and can be done 24/7. I’m not sure if there is someone behind a screen that manually checks this every now and again but you will need online banking to proceed any further.
I have only encountered one issue when sending my bank statements and that is they cannot find your salary unless you state when your last pay day was put through. If you don’t state this, you’ll get an error saying you are not working at the moment.
Taking out money are only in increments of $50 or $100. If it’s less than $50, you can do $10 or $20. Say for example, if you have $500 available to withdraw and want to take it all out, you’ll need to take out $100 5 times. I know that’s more effort but that’s how the app is represented. You’ll get a contract which you’ll have to agree to. I had a good read and it’s pretty much any typical contract if you were getting a loan.
The money goes into your account pretty much instantly but could take up to 5 minutes.
You can however be declined for various reasons. Make sure you are not a heavy gambler, because this is one of the reasons.
Whenever your next payday is, that is when your repayments are taken out. Once you fully repaid your owing, you can withdraw again providing you are still employed.
When payday does come, expect your money to be debited for what you owe. However, once this happens, withdrawing again in the app is not possible as the money has to clear on MyPayNows side so you need to wait an extra 2 or so days.
