special criteria that need to be met in order to succeed with a warranty claim which I was not informed of when selecting and purchasing the mattress under the supervision of my OT. My chronic pain has amplified to the point where I don’t want to go to sleep as I know how much pain I’m going to be in when I wake up. Even my 15m old daughter rolls from one side to the other when laying on the mattress without me on it!!! For the price tag it’s just not worth it. I’ve tried the mattress on the floor which didn’t make a difference. I’m considering turning the mattress over so the pillow top is facing down because I’m in that much pain. Forty winks knew I had multiple physical disabilities and they were explained by my OT to help us find a suitable mattress but here we are just over 6.5m later dealing with a mattress that is not suitable because of the poor mattress integrity. I do not weigh much so this huge body signature should not have occurred in such a short time. I really just want a refund and to buy a mattress in a box as I have discovered they are much better then any pillow top mattress when it comes to sagging issues. I’m over waking up with dislocated/subluxed joints because I’m not being supported in my sleep and my muscles are fighting whilst I sleep to hold my dodgy joints together. My sleep is so so so poor now and it already wasn’t great considering I have a young one to look after full tim so I need to have a decent sleep at night which obviously I’m not getting. I’m waiting on the warranty team to tell me what’s happening since the inspection was carried out but I don’t have my hopes up. Maybe an air mattress would be more suitable then this as least I wouldn’t have sagging issues unless the mattress was starting to deflate. Obviously I’m incredibly disappointed and I feel as if I’ve been jibbed.

Bad experience with mattress – Purchased this mattress after testing one in the shop. It was nothing like the mattress isn the shop. It was like sleeping on a rock. back, I was given a loan mattress a king coil which was great to sleep on. I would not recommend this brand of mattress what is the point on trying a mattress in the shop and then getting nothing like it. Don’t know what to do now, wish we had kept our old mattress,

when she put it into Zero gravity position with the iadjust base. I felt as if my sore spine had been gently stretched and I almost bounced out. I then tried just about every other mattress. Then I went next door and tried their beautiful mattresses which they apparently supply to a high end hotel in Melbourne, then on to the next popular store which also had a bed computer machine, which wasn’t working. Nor was their display of beds, which didn’t even come close to the previous stores and were significantly more expensive. So, I went back to Emily and asked for a quote on the mattress and adjustable base and took away the quote. Not on sale either. After more research, 2 days later I went back to pay a deposit and the wonderful Jeanette helped and when I said I’d probably regret paying the full price if they put it on sale the next week, she more than compensated with a final price and service I could not refuse, being desperate to sleep in comfort asap. And yes, it was on sale the next week! It was worth the extra few $$$ to have quickly though.

Then a couple of days later again, I decided that I really only wanted the whole thing to be the Blue level of firmness. Brock helped me that day and made a quick call and let me know that they would do that, because they’re all tailor made for you in Melbourne, in 2 weeks. I then read many dreadful reviews of the MySide in the meantime and sweated bullets thinking that I’d spent all that money on a dud, but it was delivered by Michael and mate right on time and they installed and set it all up and they took all rubbish away, including the old mattress. They were so lovely and nothing bothered them at all. The bed is definitely NOT one of the ‘bad’ Gen 2 beds, because they changed manufacturers I believe. For 2 nights I tossed and turned then I began to sleep like sleeping beauty…I’m 76! The bed has gradually softened to a Goldilocks firmness for me and I continue to sleep deeply and calmly, which for me is Christmas every night. The Zero gravity continues to work it’s magic and I am a much happier and calmer woman. Recently, I heard a slight ‘clunky’ noise as the base lifted and reclined, so I rang them. Brock actually came to my place within 30 minutes, on a really hot day and the store had just been trashed by break in idiots! He quickly solved the ‘problem’ with such good grace that I felt bad because they were trying to clean up their beautiful store. The staff and the service there are truly exceptional! All along I felt very valued and still do! Everyone there complements their excellent products. I think I would be their most grateful and happiest client ever. You won’t regret going through their doors!

Induced fever like dreams it was that bad – I experienced the worst night's sleep ever the first time I slept on this mattress. Forty Winks the next day, but we're told we had to "break it in" and that they wouldn't consider a replacement, exchange or refund for a minimum of 4 weeks. So we put it up with it for 3 weeks. The 2nd to 5th nights I ended up sleeping on my daughter's bunk bed, with a cheap Chinese made mattress that was more comfortable than the $2550 we'd just invested in. Forty winks manager was actually really good when we went back after 3 weeks and I said I was in significant pain from sleeping on it, she apologised profusely, listened to our complaints, and asked how we wanted to proceed. We asked for a refund and she's obliged. Just waiting for the mattress to be picked up now before we get our money back, but I've never experienced anything so horrendous to sleep on on my life. I had a shoulder issue return after no issues for 6 months, and now have hip pain which I've never had before. I can't believe how bad this mattress actually is.

Dont do it – Read the reviews before you buy. Sagged within 3 weeks. We called Forty Winks, who said that MySide needed to send out their own agent. Despite my partner sleeping on the couch, and multiple friends trying the bed, and saying it was horrendous, the Myside Agent just told us that we were having a change of heart. Super shady. hold up. A lawyer friend told us to go to Consumer Affairs, but we ended up settling for another matrress swapped out by Forty Winks. Awful experience with Myside, and the products are clearly faulty.

a great buy, and kindly gave us an excellent offer. We get it home and from the minute it arrives, it’s like sleeping in a hammock. The side bolsters are very strong and very noticeable, and my partner and I both notice that we’re rolling into the centre of the bed. I wake up sore every morning, no doubt from engaging my muscles all night to try and stop the inevitable roll into the middle. I haven’t even bothered with the warranty because I’m not convinced that a replacement will be any better. My advice is to avoid this bed, it’s poorly made and a terrible waste of money.

I'm not a fan but husband loves it – We originally got the GEN 5 but it caused me a lot of upper back pain, and I slept too hot. The MySide representative and store were great and offered to exchange it for the GEN 3 at no cost to us, hoping that may solve the issue - it didn't. and finds it very supportive. I tried sleeping on his side and though I loved that it retained its 'shape/level', I found it too hard on my hips and shoulders. (My husband weighs around 105kg, me around 70kg)

I, on the other hand, have the green side as recommended by the 'machine'. When I first lay on it, it's comfortable and I lie straight. But throughout the night it's like it softens up and starts to sag under my torso (the heaviest part of me), where I end up feeling like I'm laying in a hammock. Then I start to toss and turn, trying to find a comfortable position, causing me to wake up around 4-5am every morning, still with the middle back pain, and still sleeping hot (though slightly reduced from the GEN 5).

I'm going to investigate a topper for my side as we paid a lot of money for this mattress, and I don't want to have to go out and buy another one so soon - but at this point it looks like this is what we'll end up doing. Personally I think I need a mattress with zones so I get more support where I need it.

The mattress looks to be well made, and that it'll last a long time. There is the faintest dip where we both sleep, and there was a strong smell that took well over a week to disappear. I'm not sold on the idea of rotating this type of mattress as I found it too disorientating sleeping on the other side of the bed!

Jealous of my son - he had one – The mattress is noticeably firmer (we selected the firmer option) and feels very supportive. It is of a high quality and expect a long life from it. It sits quite high compared to our previous mattress but it helps getting out of bed.
