As many other reviews have said, the soles on my Naot shoes have disintegrated. I have barely worn these and only recently pulled them out of the cupboard to give them a try. After a short while I noticed that the shoes felt odd to walk in. I've discovered that the soles have disintegrated. I am shocked and disappointed. They are unusable and will be going straight in the bin. They have certainly not withstood the test of time.
I wore a pair of black Naot sandals for an important occasion. By the time I got home the soles had started to disintegrate. Recently I have had to throw away 3 more pairs of Naots with the same disintegrating sole problem. Show details
Follow-up · The shoes were purchased before Covid, so the were not new. The black pair. (First to have disintegrated soles)) was worn occasionally- .2 or 3 times per month, stored in a closet with other shoes (SAS ). They were purchased at The Calico Cat in Greenville, which was sold. The other pairs were with the original pair.
Soles fell apart – As many people have said here, these used to be good shoes, but the soles disintegrated mysteriously on the last two pairs I have had, well before the upper was even worn. Note the company has changed its name. Enough said.
A Lovely surprise – Arrived in 3 days! So pretty, perfect fit. I am very pleased with this purchase. They are so much prettier than I expected. I can't stop looking at my feet, it's like when you get a fabulous manicure and admire it constantly. Show details
Terrible Quality – Worn approx 20 times, over a 2yr period and the stitching has come undone and sole disintegrated. Really disappointing considering the price. Show details
Faulty shoes – I have had many pairs of Naots. In the past they were really good long lasting shoes. Recently the soles have started falling to bits. There is obviously a major problem with the material used for the soles. Do not buy until this is fixed.
Expensive shoes with cheap soles that crack and crumble – Went to wear a pair of naot sandals I hadn’t worn for a while and the found the sole crumbling and full of cracks. These shoes had only been worn a few times, they were near new. Upon contacting Naot I was told ….. if shoes are not worn typically over 12 months and you live in a warm climate, hydrolysis will erode the sole. Shoes should come with… Read more
a warning, better still you would think Naot would improve their product considering how much they charge. Warranty expires after 6 months.
Long lasting, attractive and non-slip – I have lost count of the number of pairs of Naot ladies shoes I have had. They come in a variety of styles. reliable non-slip, orthotic friendly and attractive
High priced shoes, low quality soles – Beautifully made shoes with cheap PU soles.. sadly they are not long lasting.. even after one wear, the sole collapsed and cracked and there is nothing you can do when out of warranty. I wont buy this brand again. Many of my Kmart shoes will last 7 yrs or more, Nothing against the business, but the shoes with the PU sole just don't last, and given the price paid I am really disappointed, lesson learned! Very disappointed – My sandal is very comfortable, but I am very disappointed, as the sole broke in half after 1.5 years (summer).
Great shoes, great service – The web site is great and easy to navigate. The service is terrific whether online or by phone and goods are sent and arrive quickly. The quality of the shoes is excellent. Show details
Crumbling soles – Purchased a pair of expensive ‘quality’ knee high genuine leather boots 5 years ago. Brought them out to wear over winter and found the sole completely disintegrated. They’ve hardly been worn. Beware of this brand. They use PU soles which only last a few years before crumbling from hydrolysis...totally unsuited to seasonal shoes which are only… Read more
worn occasionally. Certainly did not get wear out of these to justify the price. Buyer beware when it comes to PU soles. I won’t be buying Naot again
