Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Park

Disgraceful Manager of Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Park refused a family entry on Sunday 28th September, 2025, despite having a fully paid confirmed booking. The family travelled for (7) hrs with unforeseen traffic delays, unexpected interruptions with three small children and a 5 months pregnant mother. They arrived at Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Park at approx 10.00pm. Given there had been no communication throughout the day from the Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Park Manager to enquire what the families ETA was or to discuss late arrival policies etc the family anticipated access to their reserved site in a respectful manner. However, upon their arrival the park manager approached them with verbal abuse and disgracefully communicated they would not be accommodated, the parks check in time had ended, he didn’t work past 5pm and he actively prevented them from accessing their reserved site. The family were left distressed and in complete dismay, as it’s commonly known, nation wide, for persons to arrive late to caravan parks during quiet times and still be granted access to a reserved site. Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Parks Manager made no attempt to find a resolution for this family or to offer the family alternative arrangements, leaving this family with young children on the street overnight with no accommodation. The refusal of entry and the significant danger he put this family in is unacceptable!! DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PARK. Nasty man and awful caravan park !!
