Natures Goodness Grain Free Chilled Dog Food

I’ve been buying this same roll for many years and it’s my preferred dog food, the last two I’ve bought have been disgusting. Grey, mushy and a weird texture. My dog has had some gastric upset and horrible poos and I think it must be the food. I’m going to have to switch to a different brand. I've been buying this product for 10 years, the last 5 rolls I purchased have slop inside, watery, sloppy like puppy food/mashed potato, if this is due to a recipe change i will discontinue using this product, its a shame, it was one of the only foods that didn't cause stomach problems for my dog. Show details

coughing heavily for two weeks following that due to the vomit reaching the airway. The vomiting has happened several times and I've been to the emergency vet more than once in the middle of the night. I didn't realise it was the food until I noticed recently how it has changed in consistency to more of a putrid slime with an off colour. All food given was well within the use by date. I tried a more trustworthy brand with quality ingredients with better results. Who knows what's being put in Nature's "Goodness" but it's not so good! Stay well away if you value your dog's health. Aspiration pneumonia is life threatening and I'm very lucky things didn't get worse.

I recently bought this roll for my dog as he really likes it. He is 13yo and very fussy. The last one I bought was watery and discoloured and smelt awful. Now he won't eat it. Has the recipe been changed? Show details

My 2 dogs love the chicken and vegetable puppy roll. They've been eating it for the past few years. I can't find them anymore at Coles or Woolworths. Show details

My mixed border collie pup enjoyed this and didn’t have any gastrointestinal problems. I wished I had bought more than one if I had known this was hard to find at supermarkets. It’s really hard to find puppy food in supermarkets and very expensive from animal franchisers. Show details

Smells repulsive – Been trying this for my two dogs. Just bought and opened a new roll today and the smell was so putrid that I vomited! It's repulsive! Show details

Quite concerned – As soon as I cut into the loaf, I could smell it, then came the slime... Very slippery to handle and oh the smell! My dog ate it and was fine, but she was producing smelly farts. Never again yuk Show details

Natures goodness puppy – Have been using product for the past 5 months 100gram with100gram dry twice a day for my 8 months labradoodle .initially 3 meals per day. anything for 3 days, continuously throwing up bile and any contents within her stomach. Thankfully, after a vet visit and diet change to boiled chicken amd rice then being weened back onto her kibble she has come good. It i Was disappointing seeing others using natures goodness foods having similar issues, wishing I read up more on the food before I went and bought it.

**Update ** Whilst yes I an disapointed in the issues we had with the food and in the overall experience with the roll I am glad to see how quickly natures goodness have been in resolving any issue, the company has requested any expiry dates of the rolls fed to my dog for quality assurance and have made sure myself and dog are okay.

Our dpgs like it – We are switching to grain free home cooked food, and using this grain free product as a “transisition” as well as an addition to keep their needs balance as we thought home cooked might be missing nutrients provided in commercial food.  Show details ·  1

these type of products. I cook my dog rice and veg to mix with the dog roll which I cube. While I was cutting it up I noticed it felt kind of rough on the inside, like sand or something similar. This made me look closer at the cubes which I found to contain chicken feathers! Now I know for a dog a few feathers isn't going to really hurt but it made me question the entire process and hygiene practices of the factory that makes the rolls. I didn't end up using the two rolls I bought and went and bought some human grade meat instead!

Natures Goodness Grain Free Dog Food – My dog has spikes disease. Allergic to Grain and Gluten. Natures Goodness dog food is great and my little dog loves the Kangaroo blend. He has not had a seizure while he is eating Natures Goodness dog food. The price is reasonable, very affordable and I will be sticking with this brand which is available at Coles, Woolworth and Aldi.
