No Support from NAVMAN – Bought 680 July 2017. in Feb 2018 the socket mount Broke at the camera. NAVMAN says part is no longer available and that a replacement mount is no longer sold. 20 Cent part on a $129 item. I will not use the expletive I want to. sufice to say. Most appalling customer service around. Even car manufacturers must retain sufficient parts for 6 years. This is a very sad state of affairs. I will never buy a Navman product again!

Live in hope – I'm waiting to hear what they are going to do to fix my problem. 1st one battery wasn't connected so as soon as turned off lost a lot of settings e.g manual time. 2nd one. Even though on website it states gives speed & speed limits it doesn't and other issues. Then told to go to 960. On a 1 hr trip the ball froze so I couldn't adjust for lane… Read more

departure. I gently wiggled the mount to free the ball and on the way home the fitting around the ball broke & dashcam fell down. In each case the dashcam was under a week old

Dissapointed – Like most people here I also don't have sound when I play back my video files. I have a cheap $20.00 camera that does the same thing. That's why I bought this one hoping I would get a quality product for the money I paid. I will be returning it for something else. I used Video to Video Converter to convert the video to a true MP4 and I get… Read more

sound without having to use your software which by the way is not very loud. Volume picks up considerably after conversion. It seems to me that your version of MP4 is buggy.

I can not ask friends, Facebook and Dash Cam Owners Australia to Download your software so they can hear the sound as you suggested to other people. I expect the product to work properly, not only half of it.

I suggest you add a conversion program in your MiVue Manager.

Very happy with purchase – A definite step up from the TWO x Vicovation MF1 dash cams that I had problems with and returned for a refund. Easy to setup, pic quality is very clear, GPS speed check is handy, no issues to report. Purchased at Autobarn in 30% off sale, what's not to be happy about.  Show reply

Questionable value – Bought 2 MiVue680 DashCams recently, one for each car, on the basis the Navman brand name should have ensured a quality product. Probably mistake number 1. They both have class 10 Sandisk 32Gb SDHCI cards. Both will work fine for a while and the quality of the video is OK. But ... I find in both instances the units record a number of… Read more

'videos' each of maximum duration of 5 minutes but after some time, could be a number of days, the files can't be accessed by anything. I usually access them using VLC player on the computer. VLC opens and shows the file name but does not play anything. If I attempt to view the videos on the camera the icon shows a representation of a SDHC card with a red cross in the bottom right and won't play. Recently, of 102 video files on the card (just 13Gb of a maximum 32Gb capacity) only 18 would actually play. Same thing occurs on both cameras only difference is the number that play. A reformat of the card will rectify the playing issue but only for the first dozen or so files then everything recorded won't play. I'm now documenting the process on a daily basis as evidence for supporting a refund request.

The unit is only ever powered on and off by turning the ignition on or off. From what I can tell everything is done as per the manual.

Would i spend another $400 buying more or recommend them to someone else? Not at this stage.

As the subject line suggests, questionable value.

Great compact camera, plug and leave – I purchased this camera a week ago, I found it very easy to use and customize, you must purchase sd card to work though or else everything will not be working properly. The best feature is that it warns you of safety speed and traffic red light cameras ahead. If your over speeding in that area it will notify you with beeps until your speed is… Read more ·  1

corrected. You can also easyily add more cameras if need by simply pressing one of the buttons and it will notify every time you are near those coordinates.

The electronic speed gauge is visible also at all times Just in case. Picture quality is superb and wide enough to see 7 lanes, so you can see cars turning in clearly.

Very happy with this camera – Once set up this is not a bad little unit .like most people i found that the instructions were very basic but after about half an hour of trial an error i.e turning off all alerts , adjusting brightness and formatting SD card then viewing it on my computer via a card reader to fine tune it had it up and running. The only down side is the suction… Read more

Very disappointed, can't believe this is Navman! – I bought two, two weeks ago. One keeps falling off, one OK. One freezes constantly and I have to stop the car and restart the engine to start again. Neither of them record more than 20 seconds and yes I have set on 5 minutes recording. In a whole day of driving I have two 20 second recordings. Called technical support and got the same response as previous reviews. At $250 each plus SD cards not a happy chappy.
