NCE 12 Volt Oscillating Fan NCEOSCFAN

Paid full price at nce online store, $150 each 2 years ago. First pair were faulty and replaced no questions asked. The fans themselves are terrific from a physical aspect. They oscillate, are very adjustable and deliver a good flow of air in our van. The problem is the controls. Having 2 fans in close proximity, one remote will control both fans, but never in synchronisation. Eg. One press starts one fan, next press sends it to second speed, third press increases that fan then other one starts at speed one. Same for turning off. You can never, never turn both fans off at once with the remote. Giving the remote up, the control buttons on the fan are no better. They are not physical, just touch. Hard to find in daylight, no chance at night. They also have liking to turn themselves or there lights on by themselves, possibly triggered by mobile phone I think. One has now decided it won't turn off by remote or touch, only way to stop it is by turning its power off, presumably to reset itself. No option to review on nce website so I'm doing it here.
