Slow, clunky, overpriced – Got this as part of Nespresso membership & subscription. The machine does eventually make the coffee, but it’s too slow to start & extract, it’s also noisy, cumbersome & not particularly beautiful. One to avoid. Broke after 15 dags – Used this machine and it stopped working after 15 days. I tried every ‘solution’ Nespresso and Breville had for it with nothing working. I was hoping for an exchange for a new machine or a refund and was told the only option was to send the machine off for repair. Poor reliability plagues this machine – I'm on my third unit now. First unit bought was replaced under warranty. This failed again just out of warranty. I've since bougth another unit last year at my expense and that has now failed after 6 months of use and probably 50 or so pods. Are you kidding me. these units at all costs. So disappointing has been my experience with thse machines but when it works it is great. This Nespresso unit replaced the cheap and nasty Caffitaly machine that Woolies sold and held pods for. Only because the pods starting became scarse that I switched over to Nespresso. I must have only paid $80-$100 for that Caffitaly machine and it had lasted years - maybe 5+ I can't remember.

Couldn't even get it to work – I purchased the Vertuo Next Solo machine, a long with many coffee sleeves as my current Espressotoria is failing (more coffee in the tray than the cup). The machine is wifi and bluetooth enabled, however, I could not get it to connect to my wifi. troubleshooting. Then when my replacement arrived (a week later), I tried again and had the same problem. However, my wifi had no problem connecting to any other device. I called again and twice the customer service members hung up on me. I attempted to raise a complaint but just ended up getting them to pick up the machine and coffee pods for a full refund (which is pending). Absolute WASTE of time, and so disappointing, and minus my last call with them, terrible customer service.

Lasted 6 months – Bought this for our first pod machine, not realising that the pods used are not the same as the pods commonly sold in the supermarkets. Ok, our mistake but somewhat misleading marketing. Secondly, the machine stopped working after approximately 6 months. No amount of troubleshooting could fix the issue. My machine works really well – I can see a lot of negative comments on here and I think that I am lucky. My machine has worked well from day one, which was two years ago. I take it with me on holidays and it is bouncing around in the back of the car when we go off road. When we return, it gets used daily until we run out of 'travel' pods and then it sits in the pantry for 9 months. Plug it in and off we go again. Nespresso AU customer line, was hung up on randomly by staff, was told to call back after 7pm due to technical issues, couldn’t locate my account, no notes on my account. Just constant lies and 4 faulty machines. Don’t purchase this model. Read the reviews. Use the standard machines that work fine.

definitely below average quality and the customer service is not good - can't help at all, just keep mentioning the machine and my urgent case needs to go through a process. Some of the coffee capsules delivered in December 2021 were damaged too. I am left with no Nespresso coffee for at least the next 2 weeks.

it. Anyways, down to the machine. I bought it because it pumps out a full carafe of medium to weak black coffee - American diner style. I absolutely love it!! It's so good and I finally get several cups poured at my discretion each morning as I munch my toast. Here's the problem, three months in machine says it's time to descale - not a fan. I have typically tricked the machines into thinking I've done it because i don't want to pass noxious chemicals through a machine I drink from! So went through the insanely complex descaling process - 20 min vid on YouTube. Didn't work. Bought the descaling kit - didn't work. Went on line - a bunch of people reporting machine breakdown three months in. So i call up the helpline. They offer me a repair!! Who does this on a $100 machine ??! We all suffered through this kind of crappy after sales service in the 80/90s. Sending a faulty product off only for some lazy local repairer to take weeks, sometimes months to get round to repairing it. Hey Nespresso - very short sighted of you. Here's an idea! Send me a replacement machine so I can continue to enjoy your coffee as opposed to forcing me to find an alternative competing brand to drink while you maybe fix my machine!! Pathetic. If you buy this machine it likely won't go the distance. There are better quality machines in their range - pay the extra money. Only problem is only the Virtuo Next does the full carafe coffee I love.

After much back and forth with Nespresso they sent me a new one after the hassle of packaging up the damaged machine and taking it to the post office. (number 3) in store at Robina SHopping Centre. When I arrived I was turned away because they wanted to swap out the damaged machine. I explained I was advised by Nespresso to take the damaged machine to the post office and have been spent time and money trying to sort this out for weeks. They simply said, "sorry..but....". I have asked for a full refund and will never buy Nespresso again. Avoid. The marketing is slick but doesn't stack up in reality. Coffee is okay.

new machine as they had no spare parts. The new machine lasted about three weeks before not working. The only thing worse than the machine is the service. I would give this machine and Nespresso a big miss.
