Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming Series

Purchased Sept 2024 and it had the odd dropout from day 1. after 5.5 months, the dropouts started to occur every 5-10 minutes and was prohibitive for working from home - I replaced it with an Asus and we've had no problems since. The SERVICE from Netgear was rubbish. An overseas call centre and they wanted me to plug it back in and then they would walk me through steps to see if they could get it going before i was allowed to get it serviced/replaced. They couldn't even tell me how long the testing would take. At $300, it was not worth my time to do their trouble-shooting for them. I threw the unit away. There are much better ways to manage warranty nowadays but Netgear is still operating like its 2010. I won't be buying another Netgear, at home or at work.
The Drop out King of all Routers – Less than 5 months and its driving nuts. Daily drop outs from all devices connected. constantly re-booting . Says "connected but no Internet. Great when its working but that's out weighed by the drop outs. Serious lack of support from Netgear leaves you with nobody to turn to. Maybe this is a faulty unit. I would not recommend this unit to anyone. There are many others to choose from and many brands to go with. Now, back to trying to get it to work or pack it in a box. AU$450.00 waisted

I wish it actually worked half of the time – Incredibly difficult to setup, have to constantly reset to factory default settings to fix a problem that should be easily solved within the settings. Router software is incredibly slow. Overpriced piece of junk. I have an Orbi Router, and that does the job better than this "Gaming Router".
Purchased for $446.
