Nightmare – it takes 2 hours still fail to set up, keep asking: wrong ID or password.Have to ring ISP twice from my mobile, ring Net gear once, and cost me mobile bill $10. then I have to buy a d link router, it takes just 5 mins to set up without any drama. good tele service fail to set up.

can do a lot better – this modem/router was brought in September but not set up until January due to problems in my phone line, so have been using 9 months and the thing needs re-setting all the time due to drop outs of modem, not connection, the wireless range is not good at all I have to have a wireless extender to reach the other end of my SMALL house, internet is slow when more than one device is connected wireless (we cannot connect through Ethernet due to computers not being in the kitchen and that is where our only phone line is cheap, 4 ethernet ports and wifi, not that the wifi is good wifi range way to small, continuous drop outs, slow when more than one device connected at a time

Netgear Sucks – Netgear routers suck, i have had so many problems with it an have only had the thing for three months... i highly recommend that anyone get a different router. if i had to choose between a paper towel holder and the netgear router i would choose the paper towel holder. absolutely nothing everything

Works well – This seems to be a very good inexpensive modem router. The PC which is cable connected and 2 laptops work well with no problems. My son tells me though his PS3 keeps dropping out. Set up seems easy enugh just follow all the steps that come on the CD. mind you I had problems, and took me 3 goes to get it to link up. It seem to skip an important step that suddenly appeared and once this information was added all hooked up. The 2 laptops and PS3 found the wireless and hooked up straight away. Overall I am happy with this unit and would recommend to buy it. Inexpensive, works well, Little tricky in set up
