Nothing Sheer about it. Very thick white cast. This product claims to be lightweight and 'dries invisible', however, it is the total opposite. It leaves a thick, heavy, white cast on the face that does not fade or dry down. I let it sit for 15 mintues & then decided to put makeup on to cover the pale white cast it left. Maybe good for the beach if you want to know youre covered, at least I can tell what spots Ives missed.

Photo attached is with makeup loose powder, can still tell theres zinc sunscreen under. Not applied to neck.

Purchased in at Chemist Warehouse for $12.

Hideous – Despite being a mild, gentle and non-comedogenic (won't block pores) sunscreen, there is nothing 'sheer' about it. This product claims to be lightweight and 'dries invisible', however, it is the total opposite. It leaves a thick, heavy, white cast on the face that does not fade or dry down. It is like applying what you could imagine to be white peanut butter to the face.

This product is quite drying, I assume due to the high zinc concentration. It leaves the face tight and itchy after a few hours.

This product settles into fine lines and wrinkles- and I am only 21, prior to wearing this, there were no lines or wrinkles visible.

I have no doubt that this sunscreen provides fantastic broad spectrum coverage, and it can block some visible light which can drive hyperpigmentation, Neutrogena Sheer Zinc needs to be reformulated to a lower zinc percentage, and a nano-particle formula in order for a user to wear this comfortably. Even the most pale skins cannot get away with wearing it.
