Currently seeking financial refund for faulty tyres from new on our Road Owl single axle caravan. At less than 20 k travelled from new, both Tyres bubbled and became unsafe to tow. Cheap Centara tyres fitted by New Age at manufacturing were unable to be sourced in WA. We had to pay out $561 dollars for two new, good quality tyres ex east as well as pay for four nights acconmodation while waiting for delivery of tyres. Show details

Quality what quality also forgot to mention they replaced the new water pump which has now gone again – This caravan has got some good features but quality build no . The breakfast table flimsy the partition curtain must have cost $10 to make the double bed very cheap noisy aircon. Not even a privacy curtain on door.if this is the best of Australian never again. Show details

Buyer BEWARE! – We picked up our brand new Road Owl pop top in December after a long wait. We believed we made a great decision after months of research. After our first trip we lodged a warranty claim in late January with some items that needed repair - some of them quite surprising tbh. The worst being leaking water tanks, broken hinges on the tunnel boot that… Read more

lasted all of two days travelling. We have now experienced condensation on the inside whilst sleeping overnight to the point my daughters bunk bed was wet from all the drips. Fast forward to April 20, we are still waiting for these items to be fixed. The service from the dealership has been well and truly below par. I’ve had to make phone call after phone call plus emails to follow up. After waiting nearly a year for this van I wish I could reverse this decision now as it’s turned into a nightmare. I worked in motor dealerships for over 20 years and not one could get away with this amount of poor service and follow up. New Age do not care at all about their customers once they have sold their van!

Great little van – We have pulled our new Road Owl 16’ van around Australia with our old Prado about to head back from WA to QLD. It’s as new, it’s cosy and comfortable. Nothing has fallen apart or broken. Love it and highly recommend. Also great service from Townsville dealer. Show details

Great but needs some tweaking – Great on the road & off road traveling. Towing good especially with the rear camera. Lots of storage. The bed is ok just needs support at the end where you lift it up. Show details

Perfect van for our needs – 7 weeks on the road around Oz and no issues reported. ESC failed pre delivery and was replaced by the excellent team at New Age Gippsland. We have the 16ft Adventure pack which has allowed us the freedom to free/low cost camp with ease. 220lt of water, solar, toilet. Suspenion is on the basic side so we take it very easy on dirt roads however the… Read more

extra height makes a big difference over big pot holes. Some of the lower spec items on the road owls are actually no big issue or better. The window openers are manual - no problem. The screens are too - better because we use two hands on the side to adjust them which reduces the chance of breaking them. Gree AC unit has worked a treat when we are on 240v. The difference between a 16ft and 18ft is in the kitchen and ensuite. Make sure you are happy with it, we are little people and make it work. So far no issues with build quality or service from New Age Gippsland. They have gone the extra mile for us and I have no doubt they will again.

Well designed little van with very poor finish – Bought this van as layout was modern design with nice contemporary colours however the finish was poor. Laminate lifting, tv aerial fell apart, leg stand cheap and difficult to deploy and lock back up. Power Points crooked. Yes all covered by warranty but disappointed with quality. Show details

Delighted with our new van and the service from new age Sydney – We bought one of the first road owls at the Sydney show at the end of October. We picked it up from the Sydney dealership in November and they could not have been more helpful, they arranged the fitting of necessary electrics on our truck, spent time going over the details of the new van and made all the paperwork super easy. The van is a joy… Read more

to tow, not too big but comfortable enough for the two of us. The queen size bed is so comfy! The air con has been tested to the full after a week in Mudgee in January and keeps the van lovely and cool in temperatures of 36c. The fridge freezer has ample space for us including beers and wine. Not the biggest van we have owned it has plenty of space and is well planned with lots of nice little touches like outside speakers at head height, lights in the outside lockers, 12v plug ins near the bed for charging phones, iPads,etc....

Could not recommend the New Age dealership in Sydney highly enough, delighted with the Road Owl, so much so we're going off on a 6 month tour in it later this year.
