certificates in automotive industry, which I am considered an Expert in court of law. I did tell [Name Removed] I will do this ,and he was happy with it. So This is what happened.

April 2nd 2020 [Name Removed] fitted on my family Holden Captiva car 2 new tyres, front and 4 wheel alignment .Total $400

We live in Melbourne and ,we were under Corona lockdown for 5 months ,and max distance allowance was 5kms, there was no driving not even school was open. 29/03/2021 i noticed the front tyres chewed all the way to the tyre indicators, so i took the car to shop the next day. I called [Name Removed] and showed him in the morning at the shop and he said my suspension is -----d, and that's why tyres are gone. I did less than 8,000k and my tyres are destroyed? (I don't think so) I called a Suspension engineer that i know from the industry he came to the shop we lifted the car and checked it. Nothing wrong with my suspension not even a cracked rubber.. His Advise get another Prelim alignment from someone else. Next morning 31/03/2021 went to Bob Jane T- Mart Preston and he did a prelim alignment with printout 24 mil tow in. Left and went to Mag Wheel And Tyre Preston. 17.6 Tow In . so we are driving with front wheels pointing inwards, and as your driving tyres are scrapping . The cause (wheel aliment wrong tyres pointing in 17.5 mil.) Result (tyres destroyed in less than 8,000ks) went back to the shop, and went to [Name Removed] next door, gave him a copy of wheel alignments ,and told him to come and see me when his ready to talk. [Name Removed] came we spoke, and i told him to give me 2 new tyres ,as it was his fault.

so my advise to you people out there, don't trust him with wheel alignments or any mechanical work , your tyres will last less than 2 years, it's an old trick used by tyre shops so you come back quicker .Get a wheel alignment somewhere else
