Upgraded my old Blackvue to the Nextbase 622GW with Rear Camera and Hardwire Kit from Autobarn. I'm very happy with my purchase thus far. The mounting system was great and really easy to install. The mount sticks to the window with a 3M sticker and the Dashcam attaches by magnet. So I was able to install the power cable to the mount before adding the Dashcam.

The device is actually a little smaller than my old Blackvue, and the mount is much neater, and I have the bonus of a touch screen. I like how you can see that it's actually recording, and I also use the screen/rear camera as a reversing camera.

Image quality seems on bar. They say it has Extreme weather recording, enhanced night vision and image stabilization. But too my old eyes it looks really clear but hard to say if it's much better. But the license plates are much clearer.

I've recently purchased the Nextbase IQ Dash Camera / Car Security System. It's works great and is allot easier to use than my old Blackvue.

I've used 10 Nextbase Dashcams in my fleet of cars and have never had a single issue. Superb quality and reliable.

$1,199 for expensive garbage. A few months after manufacturer’s warranty expired, the IQ front dash cam failed. Add to that, almost from day one, unreliable connection to the rear camera, where I would often have to disconnect & reconnect to get it working. Also very unreliable connection to the Nextbase IQ App to view footage. Fortunately I had an extended warranty so I replaced the faulty IQ front dash cam with a new one….but low & behold it doesn’t work and I can’t use it with my $25/month Nextbase IQ app subscription until after I contact the Nextbase IQ support in UK to get them to unlink the old failed IQ camera. Only after that happens, can I then link my new IQ camera! Now I have to wait days for their support to get back to me. Why do they make it so difficult?? So atm, I have a brand new unusable IQ camera! Terrible, not good enough. I would give it ZERO stars if I could.

Zero service from Nextbase. Pity I had to give them 1 star. 5/1/2026 - Logged request online, including detail of the issue and everything I had tried to solve the issue. 5/1/2026 - Auto response email acknowledging my case had been logged. To add additional comments, reply to this email. 8/1/2026 - Requested and update. 8/1/2026 - Auto email response received within minutes acknowledging "Your request (643426) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email." 12/1/2026 - Again I responded "Is there a chance that I might get some service here? It's a week without any feedback? Certainly not encouraging me to stick with Nextbase products." 12/1/2026 - Auto email response received within minutes acknowledging "Your request (643426) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email." 13/1/2026 - I simply "?" responded. 13/1/2026 - Auto email response received within minutes acknowledging "Your request (643426) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email." 19/1/2026 - Still no response of value. 27/1/2026 - Still waiting. 28/1/2026 - Had a response today, asked me for the exact info that I had already provided in the original request. responded. 29/1/2026 - Auto email "Your request (643426) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email" 05/02/2026 - And here I am, still no further response. I have no words to describe this service.

Not giving advise here, but Nextbase was a bad choice. I will never purchase another Nextbase product.

 Follow-up  · . Issue was never identified . I did call, several times and did get t talk to someone, who asked me all the questions I had answered in my original request. . After many months they offered me a 10% discount voucher to purchase a replacement
