Wow, I mean, Wow – The first time I used an air fryer, I was not impressed with the result. Granted it was a much older model so I didn’t make any judgments. I did however look into this new-age cooking and found several positives and few negatives. From easy and speedy cooking to it being much healthier. During my research, I stumbled on a brand I had not heard of… Read more
but had rave reviews, the Ninja Foodie. There are several versions, sizes, and uses but I was interested mainly in compact versatility. The OP350 - 6 liter with 11 functions ticked all my boxes. There are larger models for if you have a large family and I would add, for restaurant kitchens. This one is accessed from the top with a swivel lid and for my uses this is perfect. I am SO impressed with this unit, how consistent it is in cooking results, and how easy it is to use and clean. I now only use my oven to keep food warm when I need the Ninja for additional cooking otherwise it has a keep warm setting. It is a nicely finished high-quality and sturdy construction. The front touch panel is very clear and easy to operate suitable for arthritic-affected people like me. It comes with all the basics you need including a separate high-pressure cooking lid. The high-pressure lid is easy to fit and the unit will not start unless the lid is installed correctly. It has very good built-in safety so you don’t burn yourself. The air fryer lid can be opened at any time after which the unit auto starts again. Mostly it cooks in a fraction of the time you would any other way. I cooked meatloaf in a bread pan, air-fried lamb, beef and pork roast, chicken, both whole and pieces, fresh and frozen potato chips all perfect and to the family's liking. The times and temperatures suggested in the cooking booklet that comes with it are mostly spot on. I also dehydrate herbs I grow in the garden. With cooking meat I keep tabs with a thermometer but that is just best practice. Dealing with the company is a breeze top marks for their customer relations too. A nice series of accessories are also available, like a flexible roasting sling with handles that do not get hot to easily lift food and/or pots out of the tub. The sling is food grade, BPA-Free silicone, and dishwasher safe. I very much recommend it as an add-in.
Makes life so much easier and simple – I've had the Ninja Foodi (multi-cooker) for a few years now and it is our most used item in the kitchen. The fact you can do pretty much anything/everything in it, and the fact we haven't had a single bad meal out of it, mix in the best thing about it - it is so easy to use and most meals are crazy easy to cook in it. Would highly recommend. It is… Read more
quite big, but the fact it does so many things, you don't need other appliances taking up space when you have this one.
- +1
Wont live without it – I bought the ninja because my family were raving about how great it was. We bought it for our caravan and tbh we use it almost daily. I love the pressure cook function, I can cook a brisket in 45 minutes, rice in 2 minutes. The sous vide cooks the perfect steak and the air fryer is a bonus. I also love the sauté function which allows for one pot cooking. Looking forward to baking Christmas cake this year. Show details
Dangerous – I've been using the Ninja Foodi multicooker for a few months, and while it performs well in cooking, I have a serious safety concern regarding the design. The lid hinge is problematic and potentially dangerous. Unfortunately, I experienced this firsthand when the lid fell on my pinky as I was bringing the unit down from the shelf. The hinge… Read more
mechanism caught my finger, resulting in a painful injury and a trip to the emergency room. This issue makes the product unsafe, especially for households with children or anyone who might struggle with handling heavy kitchen appliances. While I appreciate the cooking capabilities of the Ninja Foodi, the safety risks associated with the lid hinge outweigh its benefits. I strongly recommend that Ninja reviews and redesigns this aspect of the product to prevent injuries like the one I experienced.
Sadly, Ninja did 'moderated' my review (as above) from their website. I wonder if they do this for all the reviews that are not in their favor - I now question their integrity.

Do yourself and the kids a favour with a Foodie multicooker – We absolutely love our foodie and with some smart accessory purchases, we are able to cover almost all of our cooking needs with the one machine. We chose to purchase baking pans, omelette/muffin tray, stacking trays etc. It’s a great way to achieve anything from single-pot dinners to quick and easy baking with kids. We have been able to tighten… Read more
our grocery bill by being able to make tasty, quick and easy dishes which are easy for anyone in the house to prepare from such a range of cookbooks.
Be sure to clean the air fryer lid regularly, especially if you’re cooking anything that might splatter, otherwise it will be much more difficult in the longer term. We haven’t found issues with the pressure cooker lid as we are quick to clean, dry and air after each use so no sign of any rust etc.
The kids love their air-fried veggies (especially herbed mushrooms) and regularly request these as preferred snack or side for dinner. Quickly pressure cooking sweet potato prior to air frying is an enormous shortcut for delicious depth of flavour to make chunky sweet potato fries. Meats/tofu etc can be seared (sort of pan fried/browned on the pan base), air fried, grilled, pressure cooked or baked. It has never been so easy for such a variety of foods for now enthusiast eaters.
Have used it many times a week for almost 9 months.
A Family Saver cooking appliance – A solid, robust cooking unit that serves my small family of three I save time and money. More so it replaces more pricey appliances and looks good enough to sit on the bench. This cooker serves my small family well for our needs. I was impressed that I could air fry chips for my kids, make steamed rice aplenty and pressurize meat in 30 mins that… Read more
even my elderly aunt didn't complain about the toughness. Easy to clean which is the most part the large stainless steel bowl with measurements grooves indented on the inside, that is removable. Although, I have noticed after some months that the element is getting stained above. One would have to unscrew the guard to get access to this area. I use the pressurised function a lot for cooking rice, pressurised for 2 mins and then absorbs in intense pressure for 10mins. Love that my rice turns out well each time. The pressure function relies on a pressure valve that is easy to use and clean, and that I feel safe using. The instructions made it easy to understand that I had it going straight after I gave the pot and a removable rubber ring in the pressurised lid a good wash in hot soapy water to remove any smell left from manufacturing. Crispy Chiko rolls, sausage rolls, pies and pizzas I have cooked. Just have to drop the recipe temperature to less by around 20 degrees otherwise the goods get burnt. Expect to have to do batches of sausage rolls or small pies for a party as it would be too small to cope in one go. In this instance, I would rather switch to a regular oven in the wall. One of the joys of using the Air crisper function is I don't use any oil when cooking my sausages instead unlike when I used my fry pan. I put the sausages in the crisper basket, after setting the temperature 160 degrees I only then need to turn the sausages at half time and the oil drips out leaving my sausages less oily. The soft function pad is easy to press with the large LCD screen with timer and temperature control. The only thing I worry about is whether the buttons would wear out. So far I have had it for one year now and it's still going well. It does have a saute function yet since it sits on a bench for my height I don't see over into the bowl that easily so in this scenario if I had to use it for this function daily I'd rather use a flat frypan on the regular stove for ease of seeing into my cooking. It does slow cooking but I don't use it cos to tenderise my tougher meat I pressurise for speed. I gave it 5 star rating since it does do this function well should you have a need for it. I will mention here, it has a keep-warm function that operates when my timer to cook my rice completes the cooking time. even though for my needs I seldom use it. I have recommend this appliance to my single friends and small families as it's portable but due to its well constructed manufacturing it's heavy.
Still Amazed – At last, a product that does exactly what it says on the box and is so easy to use. The Ninja Food Multi Cooker has exceeded my expectations, it takes a few minutes more to cook something via the air fryer (compared to the Philips Airfryer) but, to date, everything has turned out perfectly. Steamed whole cauliflower and whole baby potatoes are… Read more · 3
so quick and easy to prepare - still trying to get my head around how you can cook a whole cauliflower in about eight minutes and the baby potatoes only need steaming for a few minutes. Plus the cleanup is so easy.
Think it would be a good idea if the small silicone oven gloves used in the demonstrations could be included in the box. Had to source these separately and found them on EBAY for just under AUD10.00 compared to the price on the Ninja Foodi website around $29.
The operation of the machine is so easy to follow and coping with the two lids has not been a problem.
This machine is big and bulky but worth the investment.

I have had it for app 5 years, it has been excellent, from cooking full chicken, tuna mornay and casseroles Easy to use. I use it more than an oven, heats up very quickly and a lot of settings
Absolutely love this as our intro to airfryers. We use it every day for one thing or another but rice is always perfect it.Theres so many features to discover and it's a good size. Highly recommended.
Great product that does it all! – This unit is the perfect unit for any small to mid size family. The price point is amazing for what it does and I use it at least 3 times a week (if not more) as it does everything! For those that have doubts about the ability of this unit to air fry, the air crisp function is amazing as it does exactly what an air fryer does but much better… Read more
(I’m comparing this with an air fryer I bought back in 2017).
I’ve also made porridge with the slow cooker and pressure cooked some soup with it and it works perfect! To fully maximise the Ninja Foodi, go through the manual properly as it explains how to use each mode fairly well.
Overall very satisfied with this and will definitely recommend this to others!
if you could have one appliance only – Love my multi cooker. I purchased it to air fry and I've used the pressure cooker quite a lot. only downside, the lid is quite difficult to clean, but it's still a great all rounder and I love all the online recipes! Show details
Great product with great customer service – Amazing cooker, easy to clean, can do almost everything. But gets rusty on the pressure cooker lid and is difficult to clean on the air frying lid. It has a little steep learning curve, as many things don't have their recipies posted anywhere and you dont know how long it takes lentils to cook. But I loved to learn to cook in it. After 8… Read more
months it started making noises and when mixing the contents in the pot the lid started becoming dislocated and you have to keep hearing beeps.
But the customer service is amazing! They just asked me to take video and photos of the issues and offered me to get a full refund or replacement with existing warranty. They took like 15 days to come to this conclusion but better late than sorry!
By adding 40 dollars I could have bought a new one so I chose to buy a new same model! So the warranty for 1 year is still intact.
Absolutely perfect – Fantastic kitchen appliance. Con a tender, succulent roast in minimal time. Pressure cook it first and then air fry it to finish it off and it'll be prefect every time. Controls are easy to use and the display is nice and clear Everything goes on the dishwasher after and comes out shining after. One of my favourite kitchen appliances I've ever owned.

Lacking – We haven't used this much yet since we only just got it, but it is worth mentioning that the various manuals, recipe pages etc disagree with each other, some of the directions are clearly for other models, and it doesn't come with the expected/logical accessories ie: *no basket, if you want to air fry something, you have to remove the hot food… Read more
from the machine with tongs, you can buy a basket for $37.99 + postage, but it should have come with it. *dehydration is listed as a function, but there is no dehydration rack, and according to the Ninja website, no such thing even exists, meaning you are left with a single layer of dehydration, which is daft.
Broke at exactly 1 year old - terrible customer service – Our ninja OP300 broke exactly 12 months after purchase with a consistent pot error so we have to move and shake the pot constantly to get it to recognise it’s in there. This happens everytime we open to check our food or sporadically mid cooking when it’s not being touched. Dealing with Mann & Noble for this has been painful. I contacted them in… Read more
June, it’s now October and still ongoing. Very slow response times for emails, staff that hang up on you if you call to follow up. Everything they can do to avoid taking ownership they’ll do. Fact is this is not fit for its intended purpose. Stay away from this machine.
Amazing – After all the products I have bought over the years and being a single guy that loves to cook. This is is the best. It’s everything read the instructions and you will love it. Never new what pressure cooking was get it now - chicken fillets the best. I have cooked a cake I have sautéed onions I have pressured and air fried chicken fillets med - rated a steak and so on. Love it. Show details
Bery poor quality inside pot – I bought this multi cooker a year ago. The bad thing about it is the poor quality of the inner pot. It scratches very soon. I am very careful with it but even using wooden spoon the pot scratched less than a month. I really can not afford to buy the pot every couple of months.
Cooks everything so fast!! I love it!! – This multi cooker has been a time saver, it steams and cooks things so fast, makes life so easy when you are a busy family!! It is so easy to clean as well after being used. I can cook a whole chicken in it for less than 30mins and it comes out perfect. Our oven takes over an hour to cook a chook. This has been one of the best appliances I have purchased Show details
Amazing piece of kitchen machinery – This Ninja 9 in 1 multi cooker is your best friend in the kitchen allowing you to make any number of dishes all in the one appliance. Best combo out there – Has never missed a beat over the 2 years of at least weekly use if not more :P Perfect for making the best baked potatoes, 1 minute in the pressure cooker and 12 minutes in the airfryer with some spray oil and rosemary. Show details
How do I live without you?? – I was in the market for an air fryer and came across this NINJA. Best appliance ever - I use it on a daily basis, from roasted potatoes to air fried donuts and beef bourguignon. I cannot recommend it enough.

Amazing space and time saver – I bought the ninja multi cooker towards the end of my pregnancy. I was working full time and already exhausted. I wanted something that would cook satisfying and quick meals for my family. I'm really happy with the wide range of dishes that I can cook in this unit and it has literally replaced a cupboard full of other kitchen appliances. My last… Read more
meal was a roast chook, cooked from frozen and on the table in less than 1.5 hours. I bought this from Harvey Norman for $399 and honestly, it's the best money I've spent all year.
Ditch the kitchen! – Great idea reasonably executed. Replaced 3 well loved appliances with this beauty, and it is easy to use for efficient, quick and tasty cooking. Too bad the non stick pan is not great. The 3rd party stainless steel upgrade pot by Gold lion is essential and worth the extra cost. Make sure to get the right size for your model. isn't well balanced and is a bit noisy starting up, but settles down quickly. Love being able to do so much with just one appliance. It has been used almost daily since buying 4 months ago.
It gives weird bad smell in cooked food – I bought the multi cooker after hearing a lot about it but have been really disappointed. Every time I cook in it, the food has this really weird smell and food tastes completely different. Excellent better than expected! – I brought the Ninja Foodi as it was on special. I wanted to buy an air fryer as I had heard so much about them. So far I have used it countless time. ingredients them pressure cook. I have done a lamb curry (30 mins) and an oxtail sauce (1 hour). I have not tried Slow cooker option most likely never will, so many other options which I will use eventually. Excellent price from Harris Scarfe $299
You Can't Find a Better Air Fryer Than This – This is the best air fryer. Why? 1. The size is large enough to put a chicken in. 2. The apart from the usual air fryer function, it is able to slow cook, pressure cook and sear. 3. It combines all the large kitchen appliances into 1 unit If you are able to get your hands on the US version it includes a dehydrator function (how great is that). This is one of the best kitchen appliances I have purchased in recent years.
Love idea but can’t remove anti-clog cap – It’s a fantastic multi cooker that crisps. Was really looking forward to this and was so pleased to buy it as a birthday present to myself at a good price from the Good Guys...But you have to remove anti-clog cap each time (pinch and lift) to wash the unit and I can’t get it off so the foodi has to go back. Great piece of cooking equipment every one needs one in kitchen – We purchased this unit three months ago and we are quite happy with its performance. Best multipurpose appliance - makes life much easier – I bought the Ninja Foodi from Myer last month and have been able to cook one-pot meals within half an hour - For e.g Wild Rice and mushrooms (pressure function) with salmon and roasted Broccoli (using grill function). Clean up after was simple and far fewer pots and pans to clean. I have cooked pasta (from dry - no need to separately cook… Read more
pasta)/ rice/ lentils/ chicken/air-fried chips so find the appliance really versatile. Pressure cooking has never been simpler and quicker. The grill rack could have been better designed as the wire is bent over to potentially make it stronger, but this creates gaps in which food gets embedded requiring a brush to dislodge when cleaning. Overall has made cooking so much easier and enjoyable.
Frustrated – We have had Ninja foodi 3 weeks . And have used it most days . The Ultimate Mutli-cooker – So far I've used the pressure cooker, air fryer, sautéing, roasting and steaming functions and all work great. Potato gems are extra crunchy, chicken wings crispy, burgers and sausages are done well, pressure cooking comes out great and the one cake I tried came out perfect. I even made chicken soup in it. The only thing that seems to not work… Read more
out for me is rice because it doesn't have a moisture sensor and pressure cooking it tends to overcook unless you know the timing. Its a solid machine that doesn't feel like cheap plastic and the pieces are well engineered. You can use the same accessories that are available for other air fryers which is good because the wire rack isn't the most useful design I've seen. Its easy to clean and while it is a bit heavier than most multi-cookers it isn't too heavy for me to move around with its sturdy handles (mine is kept on the fridge). When de-pressurising it can be a little noisy. I use the machine most days and have had it for over a month now and so far no problems.
Love love love it! – I’ve been amazed by just how much the foodi can do and how quickly I can get a fabulous meal on the table during the week. It’s been used almost daily since I bought it due to the convenience, cooking quality and super easy clean up. Favourite quick dish is chicken and chorizo paella using the Beerenberg meal base - brown off the meat, throw in… Read more
the rest of the ingredients including the Arborio rice and pressure cook for 4 minutes. Viola, perfect every time! Did the most a-m-a-z-i-n-g sticky bbq pork ribs ever. Wrapped them around the inside of the bowl (I had a lot so the looked like rib florets lol), I smothered them in the Beerenberg rib sauce and pressure cooked for 20 minutes. Popped them the under the grill for 5 minutes to caramelise (you could do this in the foodi with the air fryer but as I was cooking for 6 I would have to have done it them in batches). They where divine, succulent and juicy with meat just falling off the bone. The foodi is without a doubt one of my best all time purchases.
