I purchased the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Espresso Machine on 8/ 10/ 2025 and have been having problems with it as from day one. 1. This machine doesn't recognize the funnel properly fitted and I need to jiggle it back and forth a number of times until I can actually grind some coffee beans in spite of using the same brand of coffee beans and the… Read more
same quality. 2. On every occasion that I used the machine to make coffee, espresso, quad or long, I am getting all sorts of different and inconsistent amount of coffee water is brewed. Short of it, I had enough with this machine that doesn't provide me with the service it is supposed to be giving me for $ 799.99 I paid for. I communicated with Ninja Customer support, sent them a video as requested, they decided that the problem was fixed from my video in spite of the video clearly demonstrating my trying on fourt occasions wasn't fixing the No Funnel error message and I complained about this failure and inconsistency with brewing amount and requested a full refund since the machine did not deliver what it promised to deliver for $ 799.99, but they did not respond to my request for the last number of weeks. Finally, complaints and a video were not fruitful and did not get me any positive conclusion with Ninja Customer Service in spite of telling these people, I am an 82 year old man and have no strength any longer to enter into lengthy battles in spite of this machine being within the warranty period and they just my threats to take the matter to Consumers Affairs for a full refund of my money. The Ninja Customer Service just ignored my e-mail and I finally decided to discard this $ 799.99 machine and get on with my last days with a De'Longhi Coffee Machine that I found to be almost half the price and better technology and not enter into legal battles to remain healthy and free of stress. I'm telling you who read these report to protect yourself by reading all of the reviews available before you purchase any product.
We absolutely love this machine!! Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to change the strength from coffee to coffee and the coffee tastes great and the coffee is hot. We’ve only had it for a month so unsure as to how it will hold up long term, but so far, it’s a bottler. Makes great coffee, great milk foam and even a great cold brew with cold foam… Read more
and it is super easy to clean. We’ve previously had the Breville Oracle Touch and the DeLonghi Espresso machines and they were so bad that we said we’d never again buy an expensive machine, but decided to try a different brand and are super happy with it so far.
The quality of this machine is not great, with inconsistent coffee quality on most pours. I've had two Ninja Deluxe Espresso Machines, and I had to return the first one because it had a leak after only a month and a half of purchase. Ninja honoured their warranty and gave me a new one. For some reason, the grinder calibration system on the… Read more
second machine seems to be completely off, recommending grind sizes that make the coffee too runny. I've run a few tests with this machine, weighing the quantity of pours, and while I can get some great coffees sometimes, I can also get some really bad ones (bitter or too diluted). I reached out to Ninja's customer service and, after a month, they finally got back to me advising that the variation in coffee pours and quality is expected of this machine as it is only an entry level coffee machine. Their response was very disappointing and I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a decent coffee machine.
I find this coffee machine relatively easy to use, but I do think it’s somewhat overhyped on TikTok and Instagram. Once you’ve learned the process, it’s straightforward enough; however, if you’re short on time or rushing to work in the mornings, it’s probably not the most enjoyable option. Like most semi-automatic machines, it involves grinding… Read more
the beans, manually tamping, adjusting the basket and portafilter, and then extracting the coffee, followed by using the milk carafe. While it certainly produces better coffee than instant or capsule machines (depending on your beans), there’s still the inevitable mess—fine coffee grounds when transferring the portafilter, residue on the tamper and grinder cradle, drips, and ongoing clean-up, including emptying the coffee grind waste. I often feel like I’m constantly wiping things down.
Personally, I’d prefer a fully automatic machine with an automatic tamper and milk system. That said, if you’re looking for an affordable introduction to semi-automatic coffee making and enjoy the hands-on process of grinding and pouring, this machine is a good option. If you’re time-poor or very particular about cleanliness, you may want to consider a more automated alternative.

On Black Friday, I purchased a Ninja Luxe Car Premier Espresso, and while setting it up I realised the END CAP for the filter housing is missing. I honestly don’t understand how a product can be shipped with such an essential piece missing. I’m really disappointed , I bought this machine specifically to make coffee for my parents who are flying… Read more
from overseas, and now I’m not confident this will be resolved before they arrive next week. I spent good money on this, and receiving it incomplete is incredibly frustrating.
The coffee taste so good, it is very hot. The automatic frother works fantastic and keeps the milk nice and hot. The automatic grind calculation works a treat. It does require a bit of maintenance, and cleaning out the grinder also would be good to do. It requires descaling, water filters and cleaning tablets. Just a little thing to add a few… Read more
months later. The Ninja Customer Service is useless. Don't even reply to there emails for customer service/support. Messaged them on Facebook, didn't reply until weeks later. Called up and got through eventually but then they wern't very clear over the phone.
