A waste – I used nioxin system 3 for about 2 months and my hair tangled from the shampoo the conditioner helped to untangle a little but all in all my hair actually started falling out. to my hair, I noticed my hair had progressively got sparse, my actual ends were snapped and it was just a mess (even though I had cut off majority of my bleached ends off and grown majority of my natural hair out). Now going into my third bottle my hair doesn't get oily as quick, I have so many new growths coming out, I'm starting to have little bit of volume happening again like I used to. I even noticed back when I used to do scalp bleaches I started to suffer from an itchy scalp and it seemed to control that as well.

Still constant shedding after 8 weeks – I have given this a good amount of time understanding that I was going to have shedding. Nioxin has caused purulent inflaming wounds on my scalp – I had a problem with a dry and itchy scalp and my hairdresser advised me to try Nioxin system 3. came back with bigger intensity and parts of my scalp which were inflamed before became purulent super painful to touch. Such a bummer that I had to spend so much money on this trio and now it will stay on the shelf with no use.

helped with thickening ruined texture – I think that this product has helped with regrowth. However after a couple of months my hair is feeling very dry and noticeably frizzy. I usually have very soft curls. I'm not sure what to do other than use yet another product.

noticed my scalp showing alot more then usual like to the point it was noticeable it did the complete opposite of what it was meant to do what it says. I have nothing good to say my hair didn't look bad it wasn't unhealthy the colour looking good all before I using this and after a month of using the shampoo conditioner and thicking sprays and serum my hair is dry it was very very fine my scalp is no sensitive and I've lost of alot of hair. In just a month and I still have over 80%left.

NOTE, I went back to my palmers coconut shampoo and conditioner and leave in conditioner it's all natural not full of chemicals and no word of a lie my hair is back, it's thicker and softer and not as fine. Nioxin is bad im so glad I stopped using it when I did.

kept going with applying it to the rest of my scalp by the time I had finished there were chemical burns on my face where the nioxin had been.. That's a bit scary.. I'm still interested to see how my hair goes but I'm not in a hurry to buy anymore of this product..

Perfect – Nioxin is just the best. I've used permanent hair extensions for 4years straight never went without them which caused my hair to look like a flat thin patch on my head... so id get more extensions. Had a bad hair fall right after using it – I’m suffering from hair fall many years now sonI decided to try nioxin 4. While washing my hair with the shampoo, my hair keeps falling same as when i was applying the conditioner and the treatment. It was really bad hair fall. I never experience that before even though i suffered from hairfall for so many years. I’m not happy with the product. It doesn’t worth the money I spent to it.

also extremely thin. Particularly at the sides above my ears. So thin I would not wear it out as it was so noticeably thin. I wear it in a small loose plait and get regular trims. Although it will never be exceedingly thick. Nioxin has definitely improved it. I think in another 6 months the new growth will meet the length of my hair and I will wear my hair out on occasion. This being the case means it has taken 18 months since first using.

This really works,it's amazing – I couldn't believe this product actually worked.Having naturally thin,fine hair I thought I'd give this product a go and within 2 weeks I could see all the new hair growing.A small amount goes a long way too.Nioxin System 3 really works, I love it!

Wouldn't consider using it again – I used it for about two months before I developed a severe case of scalp dermatitis combined with an extremely itchy scalp. My dermatologist told me to stop using it and put me on a coal tar based shampoo which cleared up the condition within a week. Sadly, within those two months, I saw no change in the thickness or volume of my hair. Extremely disappointed after spending all that money.

Has helped my thinning and hair loss – Over the past 3years i have had problems with hair loss i think more than normal. I have found in my personal experience these products have stopped my problem. I use argan oil shampoo & cond as well as nioxin. For me the benefits are fantastic my age is 60 so that could have been the cause thakfully i found a fix.

Works for what you want but not good for you – I have very thin hair and always have been jelous of girls with thick beautiful hair. full of SULPHATES this is a big no no in hair care. Please be aware that any products with sulphates in it should be avoided. Sulphates dry you out and and that is the last thing your hair and skin needs.

I have now swapped to "organix" Moroccan shampoo and conditioner which are sulphate free and have never ever been so happy with the condition of my hair.

This product is good for what it is advertising but in the long run you are not doing yourself any favours.

Being in the hair industry, I had heard of Nioxin and even recommended it to a few clients, I decided to give it a go for myself.

I didn't notice much of a change, the shampoo and conditioner tingled a bit, like deep heat rub, I also noticed the scalp treatment would leave tempoary red marks if it ran past my hair line.

I was aware when I started this system that this would happen but I still was a bit unsure about it.

The first 2 months I really thought I was wasting my time, by the 3rd month I started to notice "fuzzy" bits of hair growing in my bald spots, less hair fall and sensitive spots on my scalp becoming less itchy.

I've been using this system for 13 months now and my scalp is 100% better.

The bald spots have constant hair growth, my hair is stronger and less prone to breakage, which is great when I blowdry and straighten my hair everyday for work.

My hair is still rather "thin" it always has been but there seems to be more of it.

improvement in my hair. I used to get psoriasis and dandruff and this has cleared it up completely without being harsh. I have very long hair just above my waist but had short sides that would not grow for years and normal to thining hair around my fringeline caused by unknown factors. Since using these products I can now tuck my sides behind my ear which shows they have grown considerably. I have found that my thinning at the fringeline has improved slightly, but I'm using this system everyday so it is hard to judge, but people who don't see me everyday comment on my hair and that it is working. I used to shed a lot of hair in the shower, cushions, jackets etc but that no longer happens although I still have fallout when combing at shower time, but it is normal to lose up to 100 hairs a day, so I am happy with that.

The shampoo literally cleanses the scalp and does not leave any residue. It truly feels like it has spring cleaned my scalp. It removes DHT, which is testosterone based oils that clog up and prevent your hair growing. The conditioner is very invigorating and tingling and they recommend you apply from root to ends. I was concerned the conditoner on roots would weight it down but it hasn't. The leave in spray doesn't smell at all and is used after towel drying hair and you simply spray on areas where you are thinning, massage in, then style as usual. There is no greasy residue but some people have commented that their scalp tingles and reddens (Nioxin says this happens but is temporary) but I never experienced this, though when the spray dribbled down on my cheek and neck, I was left with a red rash for 10 minutes that cleared up immediately but no way did it hurt or tingle. No drama. The downside to the spray is that I found it only lasted me 1 week before I ran out Maybe I was over zealous being my first time of using it. I have still continued with the shampoo and conditioner in the meantime until my order arrives. I find it does nothing for my friziness, so am planning on buying thier deep intensive masque to combat my frizzies.

Generally Nioxin is considered very expensive, but I am very savvy and worked out the best way to buy mathmatically and found beautybay.com is the cheapest with thier starter kits and they ship worldwide free. If you buy two at a time, it only costs $68 AUD and products are the exact size as the retail sizes but at least $20-30 cheaper.

I may swap to sytem 4, which is identical, the only difference being it is for considerably thinning hair. I have noticed that It actually has one less of the active ingredietns of system 3, so may have to investigate more before I do this.

Also, Nioxin is guraranteed to work! Nioxin Guarantee, It works, smells and feels great, scalp problems dissapear within days, hair does grow. Pricey if you don't shop around
