Powerful compact AWD
I have had the 2018 1.6 turbo AWD model since 2019 and it has been very reliable for urban commuting and recreational trips camping, light off-roading and towing a small caravan. Its main attraction for my needs is economical urban use and ability to go away on recreational trips with ability to find light off-road locations and tow small caravan, which it does well with one of the most powerful and torque engines in it class and even among the medium size SUV segment using normal 2.4L petrol engines by other car brands. The cvt auto transmissi... Read moreon has a useful manual 7 speed select mode when driving and towing for added control and it’s towing max weight is 1150kg but lowish 75kg towball down weight that is much more than most small cars of similar length and size. I have installed a Spaccer wheel lift kit to give it 25mm more ground clearance equal to other medium SUVs for added light off-road ability. It’s been great small compact AWD SUV that keeps up with medium SUVs.Stay away from this car
Advised by Nissan that the Unit will not work with new Android phones after buying the car. The Nissan Connect app is discontinued also but they don't tell you when purchasing the car. The Nissan app has not been updated for android since 2017 and cannot be used on new phones.None of the Android Bluetooth features work properly and Nissans response is that it only supports phones made on or before 2017 even though the car is made in 2020. Nice small family car
I like my Juke, i only ever use the eco friendly setting as it saves fuel. I only ever use premium fuel and the most i have paid is $60 to fill. I haven't had any issues to date appart from having to remove the boot floor to fit my pram.Show details
Not Practical
Great car to start with however no good as a family car and trying to get a baby in and out of the back is a no go plus when you can not fit a pram and your shopping in the back.I have had issues with a gasic coming loose at the turbo intake and clutch is super warm after 2 yrs of driving. Also while using bluetooth people where unable to hear me over the notice of the car even the updated downloaded and the stereo was very low
Great car to drive when in the car yourself heaps to run

Not so practical for a baby/toddler
I love my Juke but it’s not the best as a family carShow details
Not as good as I thought
I was one of first to buy one, handles really well in sport mode, not so much in economy. Good fuel economy. Didn't have to spend much on mechanical running costs at all until I got to 120k. Now all of a sudden things are going wrong. At 3 years old I had to have the front and rear crank case gaskets replaced at a cost of over $2,500 and now 1 year later the air con condenser has blown up that is going to cost another $1000. And of course conveniently warranty has run out. Cannot wait to get rid of this thing. Things like this should not be happening to car that is 4 years old.Show details
Nissan Juke
Handles well quite comfortable. The look is distinctive, and the price is good. I like the juke and i don't care abut cars at all. Its runs well and i do a lot of driving. The interior is quality, has different driving setting, eco normal and sport. there is a definite difference with these sport is more more responsive and eco saves you money on the free way.Want a nice comfortable inexpensive car,. Have a look

Average car for the money
I have a Black Juke ST manual - purchased brand new from Von Bibra in 2014. As I found out later though - my "new car" was a 2013 model.I was attracted to the juke for its unique design. I love the look of the car - and for a single person, it's quite convenient with it's size. It has a good boot for a little car - and when the seats are laid down in the back - it has a surprising amount of storage. I had a towball fitted, so that I could put my bike on the back - however I discovered that I could actually fit my (road) bicycle in the back wi... Read more
th it's front wheel off. I notice that someone had mentioned the car's fuel efficiency... I was not so impressed with it in my car. I seem to average around 7.3L/100 km which is a bit more than the stated 6.0 i think they say in the booklets - and that's in the Normal mode. I'd hate to think what it would be if I drove it around in sports mode. At best - I would say 6.5 easy-going (eco) highway driving and no air-conditioning. I got the paint and car protection, however it appears that they didn't do the spoiler - and the evidence is extremely clear, as in less than three years, the paint has completely faded and worn. It looks TERRIBLE!!! In addition, the paint quality on the car in general is extremely poor and it scratches with even the smallest of brushes. There is areas under the bonnet that don't appear to have been sprayed. Bird poop on the roof (where I couldn't see) ate straight through the paint, down to metal. SO DISAPPOINTING! Especially as I had paint protection - which seemed to have done nothing in this case. I look after my car with washing and polishing on a regular basis - and have been really disappointed with this. Heat has been the other major issue with this car. Whilst my car is black (and I have heard that black cars are not good with heat), the heat in this particular car is phenomenal. The aircon is also not very strong (I drive toyota's, kia's and hyundai's at work - all of which far out do the Juke) and there is no aircon vents in the back seat. As I said above, it's not a bad little car for a single person - but not for people wanting to take other adults as passengers. the car has limited amount of power which worsens if you don't use a premium (98) fuel. The back seats are not easy for adults to get in to - and my parents (in their 60's) really struggle if I need to take them anywhere in my car. Overall - it's a cute little car, but probably not worth the money they ask for them and I'm not sure I'd go a Nissan again. I rate our Hyundai i30 as a better vehicle.Very good car. Have not got any problem with it. Good quality
The driving experience with the car is enjoyable. Some tiny issues with the GPS navigation as sometimes it says route calculation failed. Apart from that, overall, it is a good quality car.
The running cost is OK. Currently the petrol consumption per 100km is around 8.3 and the service fee is around $300.

Great car but gps cannot be updated on 2013 - 2015 models
Great, sporty car but really don,t appreciate having to stick a $100 tom tom on the dash. I think that when you pay quite a few extra dollars for this type of system then the manufacturer should have one that could be updated. Have replied to quite a few Nissan surveys highlighting this design fault but have yet to receive a response.sJanuary 5th 2018 Update: Don't top up the radiator
Should you need to top up the radiator only use water. I topped mine up using a radiator inhibitor, when I had my next service I was told what I had done was incorrect and an inhibitor contaminates the cooling system. I was charged over $300 to have the system flushed. Wouldn’t, have bothered but the vehicle is still under warranty.

Great little car
Love the interior. Got white with red accents and love ever aspect of it. I'm 6 foot and can sit comfortably in the back seat. All the fine details make this car fantastic. Display very user friendly. Only downside so far is the reversing camera which can be a little hard to judge. Overall would recommend this car to anyone.Show details
Never buy a Nissan juke
Biggest mistake to buy a Nissan Juke!! Brought this BRAND NEW car in October 2015 from Bayside Automotive and have had issues from day one.First: After a week of having the car the Engine light came on. Took the car into Nissan which they keep my car for a few days to fix the issues which was a faulty Fuse
Car broke down RACV had to come out battery was loose as Nissan didn’t tighten properly after having it
Second: Took the car in as the car radio was very faulty and the buttons on the steering wheel and control panel didn't work. I was to... Read more
ld that the radio won't be fixed until I show proof (WARRANTY). Third: Took the car in again as the car radio was still faulty and the buttons on the steering wheel was still playing up, Showed proof of the car radio crackling and the buttons playing up. Fourth: Took the car in for the passenger seat belt warning light coming on even when there was nothing on the seat and for the car radio still being faulty. Fifth: Took the car in for the seat and Radio to be fixed, this was a YEAR LATER after asking them nonstop to fix the radio issue. Pick up my car and they informed me that they forgot to order the part for the passenger seat. Six: Back to Nissan to drop off the car again to get the passenger seat fixed. 2 Days after receiving my car back the driver seat plays up and the seat belt warning light was coming on nonstop Seventh: Nissan pickup my car from my house to fix any issues (Driver seat belt warning light) I have been having with it while I was overseas for a month. They were to email me and ask if I would like a service on the car but instead of doing that they just dropped the car off haven't heard anything since. Rust is now coming through the interior on the roof. Called up Nissan in regards to this issue and no one ever got back to me. Nissan haven't been very helpful at all during this whole process. I have asked them to call me back in regards to issues and no one contacts me I have to just keep calling until someone will actually help. These issues shouldn't be happening at all. I have had this car for 18months and had nothing but trouble since day one. I have asked Nissan to give me extra warranty as I don't trust the car on a 3 year warranty is going to be enough as I've had nonstop issues in 18months they DECLINED. I have asked them to give my money back or a new car as I don't see it's fair to pay for a car that has given me nothing but stress and problems they DECLINED. I honestly don't see how hard it is to make a customer satisfied and happy with your product. As a big company and a well known company wouldn't you want your customers to remain happy with your product? I honestly wish I never brought this car it's been the biggest regret. No help at all from Nissan, Faulty Car, Problems nonstop. Took my car into Nissan for a service as my car won't start and the central locking also isn't working. Explained to them in regards to the interior having rust and they informed me that the rust of my roof is normal and that they won't do anything about it and that it's a cost I need to fork out ABSOLUTE LEMONLove! But a couple niggly problems
After doing ALOT of research, I chose this model as it fast quick off the mark without having the 'bulk' of a regular SUV.A lovely smooth drive with the option to change driving modes (Eco, normal & sports)
Lots of room inside, a large male can easily sit in the back seat without having his knees up near his ears!
The leather seats are lovely to look at but uncomfortable during long drives.
As I’ve now had the Juke for a couple of year, a few pieces of plastic moulding have begun to fall off. Show details
I'm in Lurve...with my new Nissan Juke
awesome to drive, parking in tight spots is amazing. Looks small and sporty but inside is soooo roomy. Very low road noise which is great too. Greg at Nissan Browns Plains made my purchase easy, fun and most importantly quick. Loving the gadgets and boot space. Thanks Greg you're amazing!!Show details
Juke Ti-s way to go
Just bought one today - got the Ti-s - tried the st - very under power. Came form 4L ford and found st very lacking.Tied the Ti-s Turbo and loved it . it is well worth spending the extra for the turbo. I would say the st would have troubles getting up hills. If you had a 6 cylinder before the st would not be for you . Try the Turbo you will love it. Extra colours are way to expensive - going to wait for e-bay for aftermarket ones. Love the shape.Show details · 1

We are due to have a baby next month and whilst i was looking to replace my Juke with a larger suv, Skoda have pulled my order from the production line unexpectedly!!!

Any thoughts or tips are greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi I am looking at buying a 2016 Nissan Juke Ti-S N sport model. There's no safety rating. would like to get some feed back from someone who's got it? Vas
Hi Vas, answering your question on Nissan Jukes. I purchased a 2013, ex demo with 100k's on the clock in 2015. Cost about $34k new, cost me $26k. Maybe you should think of a demo model. The one I have... Read more
is a TS-I and it exceeds all my expectations. I feel very comfortable (seats are great) and most secure. It goes like a bat out of hell and can stop on a sixpence. Turning circle good, body build good, consumption good, Hey everything is good.I'm thinking of buying a 2014/2015 Nissan Juke 2nd hand. It has the base 1.6 l motor and no turbo. Anyone got one? Is there enough power for a good day to day car and the odd trip up the coast? I would be interested in any feedback. Thanks.
Would definitely suggest you buy, however I have the turbo model and it's really very good. Be careful with any radiator top up. I did this using a recognised fluid . The dealer said this was a no no.... Read more
As it was some kind of magic liquid that had to be used. (Must have had gold dust in it). I was charged $300 to flush and recharge the system.Details
