Powerful compact AWD – I have had the 2018 1.6 turbo AWD model since 2019 and it has been very reliable for urban commuting and recreational trips camping, light off-roading and towing a small caravan. Its main attraction for my needs is economical urban use and ability to go away on recreational trips with ability to find light off-road locations and tow small caravan,… Read more
which it does well with one of the most powerful and torque engines in it class and even among the medium size SUV segment using normal 2.4L petrol engines by other car brands. The cvt auto transmission has a useful manual 7 speed select mode when driving and towing for added control and it’s towing max weight is 1150kg but lowish 75kg towball down weight that is much more than most small cars of similar length and size. I have installed a Spaccer wheel lift kit to give it 25mm more ground clearance equal to other medium SUVs for added light off-road ability. It’s been great small compact AWD SUV that keeps up with medium SUVs.
Stay away from this car – Advised by Nissan that the Unit will not work with new Android phones after buying the car. The Nissan Connect app is discontinued also but they don't tell you when purchasing the car. The Nissan app has not been updated for android since 2017 and cannot be used on new phones. None of the Android Bluetooth features work properly and Nissans response is that it only supports phones made on or before 2017 even though the car is made in 2020. Show details
Not so practical for a baby/toddler – I love my Juke but it’s not the best as a family car Show details
Very good car. Have not got any problem with it. Good quality – The driving experience with the car is enjoyable. Some tiny issues with the GPS navigation as sometimes it says route calculation failed. Apart from that, overall, it is a good quality car. The running cost is OK. Currently the petrol consumption per 100km is around 8.3 and the service fee is around $300. Show details
Great little car – Love the interior. Got white with red accents and love ever aspect of it. I'm 6 foot and can sit comfortably in the back seat. All the fine details make this car fantastic. Display very user friendly. Only downside so far is the reversing camera which can be a little hard to judge. Overall would recommend this car to anyone. Show details
Never buy a Nissan juke – Biggest mistake to buy a Nissan Juke!! Brought this BRAND NEW car in October 2015 from Bayside Automotive and have had issues from day one. First: After a week of having the car the Engine light came on. Took the car into Nissan which they keep my car for a few days to fix the issues which was a faulty Fuse Car broke down RACV had to come out… Read more
battery was loose as Nissan didn’t tighten properly after having it
Second: Took the car in as the car radio was very faulty and the buttons on the steering wheel and control panel didn't work. I was told that the radio won't be fixed until I show proof (WARRANTY).
Third: Took the car in again as the car radio was still faulty and the buttons on the steering wheel was still playing up, Showed proof of the car radio crackling and the buttons playing up.
Fourth: Took the car in for the passenger seat belt warning light coming on even when there was nothing on the seat and for the car radio still being faulty.
Fifth: Took the car in for the seat and Radio to be fixed, this was a YEAR LATER after asking them nonstop to fix the radio issue. Pick up my car and they informed me that they forgot to order the part for the passenger seat.
Six: Back to Nissan to drop off the car again to get the passenger seat fixed.
2 Days after receiving my car back the driver seat plays up and the seat belt warning light was coming on nonstop
Seventh: Nissan pickup my car from my house to fix any issues (Driver seat belt warning light) I have been having with it while I was overseas for a month. They were to email me and ask if I would like a service on the car but instead of doing that they just dropped the car off haven't heard anything since.
Rust is now coming through the interior on the roof.
Called up Nissan in regards to this issue and no one ever got back to me.
Nissan haven't been very helpful at all during this whole process. I have asked them to call me back in regards to issues and no one contacts me I have to just keep calling until someone will actually help.
These issues shouldn't be happening at all. I have had this car for 18months and had nothing but trouble since day one.
I have asked Nissan to give me extra warranty as I don't trust the car on a 3 year warranty is going to be enough as I've had nonstop issues in 18months they DECLINED. I have asked them to give my money back or a new car as I don't see it's fair to pay for a car that has given me nothing but stress and problems they DECLINED. I honestly don't see how hard it is to make a customer satisfied and happy with your product. As a big company and a well known company wouldn't you want your customers to remain happy with your product?
I honestly wish I never brought this car it's been the biggest regret. No help at all from Nissan, Faulty Car, Problems nonstop.
Took my car into Nissan for a service as my car won't start and the central locking also isn't working. Explained to them in regards to the interior having rust and they informed me that the rust of my roof is normal and that they won't do anything about it and that it's a cost I need to fork out
ABSOLUTE LEMON
Love! But a couple niggly problems – After doing ALOT of research, I chose this model as it fast quick off the mark without having the 'bulk' of a regular SUV. A lovely smooth drive with the option to change driving modes (Eco, normal & sports) Lots of room inside, a large male can easily sit in the back seat without having his knees up near his ears! The leather seats are lovely… Read more
to look at but uncomfortable during long drives.
As I’ve now had the Juke for a couple of year, a few pieces of plastic moulding have begun to fall off.
Juke Ti-s way to go – Just bought one today - got the Ti-s - tried the st - very under power. Came form 4L ford and found st very lacking.Tied the Ti-s Turbo and loved it . it is well worth spending the extra for the turbo. I would say the st would have troubles getting up hills. If you had a 6 cylinder before the st would not be for you . Try the Turbo you will love… Read more · 1
it. Extra colours are way to expensive - going to wait for e-bay for aftermarket ones. Love the shape.
My favourite car ever – Love this car. It's very individual, sporty and as the ads say it is fun. It drives really well, the ride is high, and visibility is great. It looks like a 2 door but it's actually a 4 door. Minor issue is I have the Digi Turbo top of the range model and storage is an issue. The base model has under floor storage in the back / cargo area. … Read more
I'd also like a little more storage in the front, the two cup holders are a good size, but one (if not both) end up being filled with my phone and water then there's no room for the coffee! I wouldn't suggest this car if you want to get kids and prams etc in the back - but it is ok for a family of 4.
Top model has keyless entry (that you can program to unlock 1 door or all), sat nav (which is surprisingly good), bluetooth phone connectivity.
With the mobile phone integration, it's worth considering how many individual phone numbers you want to store in the juke's phone system - it allows 1000 numbers per phone - this sounds like a lot but if you have 3-4 numbers for a person, that's 3-4 in your car's system. The juke hands down is better than the Honda I also drove (that stores only 200). You can't selectively store to the juke's phone system it pulls over your contacts (when you tell it). An easy fix for me was to add an "a" to the front of the few contacts that didn't get imported because they were the end of the list and then re-import.
Being able to almost step in and step out of the car due to it's high positioning is a real plus too.
It's certainly not the quietest ride and it doesn't have the most gadgets - but it is fun and an enjoyable drive every day
