Luxe VS The Noa. I bought both so you don't have to – I gave the Noa a pretty detailed review in June 2022, read that if you want specifics. To recap that review, The Noa absolutely slaps. I love it so much that I bought two more mattresses from Noa. Anyway. At the end of the year I moved and bought the Luxe for myself and another Noa for my boyfriend (we have seperate rooms because I snore), and I… Read more · 1
kept my old Noa at my mums place.
After sleeping on my boyfriends Noa and my Luxe for the past 3 months, I can confidently say that they incredibly comfortable. On paper, the key difference between the two mattresses is that the Luxe has a 5th "micro-coil" layer and uses a "bamboo charcoal latex" layer instead of normal latex.
However, I genuinely cannot tell the difference between the two mattresses. I've laid them out side by side with no sheets on and it is virtually indistinguishable. I'm glad that the Luxe is dark grey, otherwise it wouldve been likely that I wouldn't remember who's mattress was who's.
I wager that deep down, that 5th layer is just a cost efficient marketing tactic to convince you to spend more money on the same mattress, and it definitely worked on me. The Luxe mattress truly does not feel any different to the Noa mattress.
Aside from that, Noa has created a high quality product. I bought the Luxe to fulfill my desire to have the very best mattress that Noa has to offer, and I have it. The Noa mattress just happens to be so well made that it probably is not possible for the Luxe to actually feel even better.
I love the Luxe mattress and I do not regret buying this. However, I highly recommend to skip the Luxe and get the Noa mattress if you want more mileage out of your money.
Firm, comfortable but – I have received the mattress on the 21st Oct, opened it up to leave it fully decompress until today (3rd Nov), and well, when I attempted to put on the bedding and one handle is half torn off. I didn't even lift the mattress off the floor with the handles, the sewing work must had some loosen threads. I have not even spend a whole night on it… Read more
yet and seriously depressing because this mattress is pretty heavy and the handle I feel can be essential.
Have sent an email with photo, still waiting for a respond (been 8 hours). Hoping for a replacement, but also concern about the delivery date for the new one.
*update: Received a response. They clarified this is not covered in the warranty, and therefore will provide a small refund as compensation. (I will leave the amount unrevealed here).
I have also spend one night on the mattress, it is softer than I was expecting, quite comfy but the edge support is a little weak. I am a side and stomach sleeper, so far I would say it's a 8/10 in comfort. I normally can get used to the mattress pretty quickly, will update again to give my final comment
Bad service, refuse to swap faulty mattress! – This is the worst mattress shopping experience I've ever had. I upgraded from ZZZ Atelier, possibly one of the greatest value mattress I've used. I thought paying more would at least give me a similar experience. From the first day, after purchasing the mattress, I've receive no ETA as to when I will be getting the mattress. I only got a response… Read more
after 2-3 weeks saying that it has been dispatched.
Shipping was horrendous. They use Hunter Express, a courier with 1.5 stars rating on Google and Product Review. How can that possibly go wrong. I just got a phone call in the morning on a working day saying that mattress will arrive today. I was not ready to receive it and had to tell them to postpone the delivery.
More trouble arise when I tried to contact them after I'm ready receive the delivery. It was nearly impossible to contact both Noa and Hunter Express as both contacts would often end up in voicemail.
After whole 2 weeks of unsuccessful attempts to contact both parties, I manage to get to get a hold of them, securing a delivery. Apparently they can't lock in a certain day so can only let you know on the day when they can deliver.
I thought this was it after receiving the mattress. I later found that the mattress does not have the same thickness as advertised. To be more specific, it was 6 cm less thick. I contacted Noa, saying that the mattress is defective and would like to have that exchanged. They told me that it would take 2-3 days to fully expand. I decided to wait.
After 3 days, it grew by 0.5 cm. I thought it is unfair for me to be using a faulty product after waiting so long so I insisted to have it exchanged. They then told me that it can take up to a month and refuse to swap the mattress. I am now forced to use my 120 night trial to test out a faulty product which could potentially harm my posture. But of course why should they care.

Comfortable no fuss mattress – Ordered the Noa Luxe Queen mattress and it didn't disappoint. Arrived quickly, was easy to unwrap and assemble. Mattress is so comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable med-firm mattress. Show details · 1
Comfort and sound sleeps abound! – I bought the NOA Luxe after spending a lot of time searching for a new mattress. I suffer from sciatica and hip soreness and this mattress has been great for completely reducing the pressure pain/burn that I feel when lying on my side while sleeping. The mattress is soft to touch, supportive and so comfortable to sleep on. I've had no problem with… Read more · 3
overheating on this mattress which is a bonus as I am a "hot" sleeper. It was easy to order online and arrived within 5 days of it being ordered. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the mattress (and sleep we have been getting!). Definitely will be replacing all our older mattresses with this brand as we need to. Highly recommend NOA!
Great product and service – Really happy with the quality of sleep on this mattress. It’s really comfy, it’s medium to firm which we like. Customer service was excellent. It relaxed a mattress that was 5 times the price and seems much better. Show details · 1
Not the mattress for me but can't fault service – I purchased the Noa Luxe after reading many reviews regarding it to be good for back pain. It was easy to purchase, and arrived quickly. However it was way too firm for me and I woke with horrible all over body aches. I purchased a bamboo mattress topper but it didn't really help. I arranged to return it and was impressed with the relative ease -… Read more · 1
the hardest part was co-ordinating with the Salvoes to pick it up. It is great quality, I would suggest you make a softer version as well and I reckon it would sell well
Perfect matress, soooo comfortable – This is the most comfortable matress I have ever owned. I suffer with bad shoulders and find it difficult to get into the right position to sleep, but I've found that since we brought this matress, it's been a lot easier to not only get to sleep, but to stay asleep. So glad we made chose NOA Show details · 1
Best sleep in ages – I was waking up sore with back and joint pain, realising that my old mattress needed replacing so i search for the best online mattress. After many products claiming similar comfort I bought the NOA Lux. It is very supportive, I wake up feeling great, no sore back or joint discomfort. No sagging etc. I’ve slept on similar brands at air bnb’s etc but this product is great Show details · 1
The Noa Luxe is an excellent medium to firm mattress – We replaced our old, unsupportive, backache inducing mattress with the Noa Luxe mid March 2021. At the time of writing this report, it is early June 2021. After a short adjustment period in conjunction with new pillows, our morning backaches have thankfully disappeared. The Noa Luxe is a tall, heavy duty, solidly constructed mattress, which kept… Read more · 3
on growing in height for a few weeks after we unrolled it onto our bed base.
Although the mattress comes with an inbuilt cooling gel layer, disappointingly, it does not work. The mattress does retain body heat, so we bought a cooling gel mattress protector to assist with better temperature control.
We have not experienced any mattress sagging, but after just a few months, one would reasonably expect the mattress not to sag. At this time we would expect the mattress's durability to continue for many years.
Delivery time from order was just a couple of business days. Noa's customer service must be applauded and commended as well. When we purchased the mattress, there was a discount, which was applied to our purchase, but just after we paid and before delivery time, Noa applied a (slightly) deeper discount to new purchases. I raised that drop in price with Noa and without hesitation, the additional discount was applied to our purchase as a refund. Thank you Noa.
February 2023 update. Although our Noa Mattress performs today as it did when new, due to the heat retention of the mattress, we are going to try out other brands to see whether they might be able to dissipate the heat, as the Noa does not and my wife has many very restless nights, with her body overheating frequently.
Extremely poor customer service – Tried mattress for a week but was too firm for my wife. Mattress only took a few days for delivery however when I requested to return it they advised earliest pick up date was in 4 weeks time. And no refund till they pick it up. Would suggest you look elsewhere for a mattress with a company with better customer service.

Very firm but otherwise excellent – Ordered the mattress and it was delivered very fast (within a few days). It is heavy (which is indicator of coils so not a bad thing) and expanded quickly. I love the design with Tencel cover, micro-coils, bamboo charcoal latex, and memory foam all Reach/Oeko-Tex certified. Certainly there is no noticeable chemical smell. I'd previously bought an… Read more · 1
Eva with micro-coils which I like (adding extra comfort/support with good airflow), but they stopped using them to save money and so I switched to Noa for this purchase.
I like the fact that it has minimal additional foam (which give cloud like comfort but quickly sink causing sagging).
The mattress is *very* firm and supportive. Lovers of soft mattresses won't like it. Having said that it has enough give so that you don't feel that it is hard, or feel any springs. I added a wool topper a bit to offset that - still not cloud like but a good mix of comfort and firmness. It took a while to get used to but now my morning sore back is gone (improvement wasn't instant but progressive) and my wife has commented she no longer gets pains from bed.
All in all I would recommend - especially if you like a firm mattress (and add a topper if you want firm with a little extra softness). My guess is that the firmness will pay off in longer life also (won't sink anytime soon).
Luxe mattress - perfect balance of firm and softness – Delivery was very fast, and unpacking was very easy. Have been using the Luxe mattress for over two months now and it’s firm yet soft enough to be very supportive especially as a back and side sleeper. Have recommended the mattress to others! Know better, choose better.
Finally feel comfortable – Bought the Noa Luxe. I finally feel comfortable on a bed. Took a few days to get used to it but now love it. Just the right amount of firmness. Show details · 1
Great bed – I travel a lot for work and slept in many 4 and 5 star hotels globally. The Noa Luxe rates up there with the 5 star hotel beds. The Noa Luxe is very supportive and you don't feel like you are sinking in and stuck in the bed like memory foam beds. There is very little partner disturbance when moving around which is great. The Noa Luxe is a heavy… Read more · 1
bed which is fine by me, but people might struggle when they are rotating the bed. Its about the same weight as our old Sealy bed.
We reused our old Sealy Posturepedic Palatial Crest base which Noa stated that its compatible to be used with the Noa Luxe, therefore maintaining the 15 year warranty. We were comparing the Noa Luxe with the Sleeping Duck Mach 2 and the SD has very strict instructions about the type of base it can be used on, else it will void the warranty.
We use a mattress protector on all our beds to protect it from accidental spills as the mattress cover cannot be removed.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is that the packaging did take a beating being shipped from China to Australia. The carboard edges should have been re-enforced with at least another layer of thicker strip of cardboard or better yet plastic edges.
Overall I highly recommend this bed, its up there with the top of the range retail beds costing 2-3 time more that we try before taking a gamble with the bed in a box selling model.
Great value bed with high tech features without the nonsense pressure sales pitch from the usual retailers where its always 50% off RRP if you buy today! Mattresses from retailers have their own names and part numbers even though them come from the same manufacturer such as Sealy, Dunlopillo etc so you can't easily cross shop between the retailers and get the best value.
Double thumbs up.
Suprisingly Supportive – I was in desperate need of a new mattress but with lockdown was unable to go testing them. Noa mattresses sounded great but was skeptical they could be supportive coming out of a box. If it hadnt have been for the money back guarenteee I probably wouldnt have taken the risk but so glad I did. We got the Lux and I've been sleeping better, more even temperature and my back feels better too. Show details · 1
Well rested – After being let down by another company, the efficient and seamless customer service and delivery process was impressive. The mattresses we purchased (2 of the Luxe) were as described and have improved the quality of our and our daughters sleep with a fabulous balance of firm support and soft cushioning. No hesitating in recommending the Non Mattresses. Show details · 1
Take the risk, sleeping in everyday now – This mattress is SO COMFY!! I can't stop sleeping in and I don't want to get out of bed. I used to have slight back pain on my previous mattress (Sealy posturepedic) and decided to upgrade, now I wake up with zero back pain. We almost bought a Maddison Luxury ($1,800) as it felt comfy but the reviews were horrible and we decided to take a chance… Read more · 1
on NOA not knowing anything about the brand. The 100 day sleep guarantee gave us the confidence to take the risk.
Don't believe the deliver issues that you've read in old reviews, they have since changed transport providers (in Sydney anyway) and our mattress came in 2 days since ordering it.
I would recommend this mattress to anyone.
Waited for over a month and finally received my order – The new luxe mattress is quite heavy and dense which probably makes the delivery a bit harder and longer than expected. However, it turns out worth the wait. The firmness is true as indicated. It does keep me cool during the night even with my heavy duty goose duvet. Maybe a little bit too cool for me who is not a hot sleeper. It probably is a… Read more · 1
good thing though to sleep with a lower temperature. I will try to add some met on top of the mattress if I can't stand the coolness. Overall, the produce is great and genuine, just with a long transiting period.
