one also, normally the hang out area for his friends in his bedroom when they come over, “they say they want to sleep in it.” So needed an upgrade. To a new cover from eggplant to a bright blue, as you can see in the photos. I have had the beans renewed by Noomi also in the last year or so. I find the same level of customer service and consistency across the whole company nothing is ever a burden and all questions and changes to your order are met with the same level of commitment and dedication shown from day one when I picked up my pods 4 years ago ( second photo is the new cover in blue on one pod an the other grey one is original cover from 4 years ago still in use). We love these pods and there other items so much that we have bought more items on pickup gifts for friends and a new lounger bean bag in rainbow colours for our youngest so he can give his pod a rest occasionally. If you want the ultimate bean bag from a local dedicated small business that cares this is the one for you. I warn you the whole family will use them and can be addictive.

Customer blamed for poor-quality product – I do not recommend Noomi products. In June 2019, we purchased a beanbag from Noomi. In September 2023, we had the beanbag re-stuffed and the cover replaced. Within a few months, the new cover began to fade, deteriorate and tear prematurely (see attached photos). The owner alleged the deterioration of the product was due to factors on our part—specifically, suggestions that extreme heat, the use of lotion, or "something else" we had done caused the issue. These claims were all speculative and unfounded.

The beanbag has remained in the same location and been used in the same manner as when we had the original cover, which lasted four years without any problems. The care instructions (attached) also do not caution about heat, lotions or other vulnerabilities.

The owner defended the situation by insisting that the company has very good quality control, stating that they had never seen this issue with any of their products before. This is untrue as a quick Google search shows that the same issue occurred at least once before to someone who wrote about it on Product Review.

The owner also raised the point that we did not report the problem immediately after it first appeared (we didn’t have time). Look at the photos and judge for yourself. Is this what you want your purchase looking like after just one year of use? Does it look acceptable to you? The delay in reporting is secondary to the central problem: the replacement cover was of poor quality from the start.

I followed the conversation with an email, which the owner chose not to respond to. Hence this review! People should be able to make informed decisions about what they purchase. So please note: If you purchase from Noomi, you are purchasing from a company that thinks it’s reasonable to assume the fault lies with the customer, even though no evidence supports it. You may well get a faulty product, like we did. Buyer beware.
