Northern Lawnmower & Chainsaw Specialists

Sold me a 3 year old product that failed after 5 months – Victa mower with Victa engine. (Poor engine) Not super impressed. Bought new in Jan 2024. May 2024 went to start it and no fuel. Added fuel and it leaked out of the fuel line that was split. Replaced hose, added fuel, no start. Took it back and was told it needs a carb service at $130 due to poor fuel I have to have the mower working so agreed to pay the price, I have no choice. At most fuel can only be 5 months old and I doubt it was that old. Technician was polite but tried to say the hose cracking was from the fuel. I work on cars and know the fuel line failure is from age, not from fuel . Read the manufacturing date, 2021. Thing was 3 years old when I bought it new. I am starting to doubt how new this was when I bought it . No wonder the fuel hose split being 3 years old at least. When I informed him of the age of the mower he seemed surprised but quickly moved on from that subject. I am concerned at what else has deteriorated in the 3 years it has been sitting idle. Last Victa I buy and not impressed with northern mowers as they knew it was 3 years old when they sold it to me. No mention of that.
