Worst cruise out of 10 . Entertainment was ordinary with insufficient seating for passengers. Alcohol duty free and pharmacy prices triple costing , ship was dated and dark. Caught Covid on the 4th day on this hospital ship .The food at best was cafeteria grade.Ports we wanted to visit were cancelled without reason.overbooked shore exercusions and generally every time you breathed it was an extra cost .Absolutely rubbish holiday better of sitting in yr local pub

may have had the cabins for everyone, but when it came to food and entertainment, the queues were sooo long and sometimes we ended up going without. If we could get something to eat, there was nowhere to sit down. They had about 1,000-1,500 too many people on board for the 'services' provided. If you had anything to ask the Guest Services and it was negative, time and time again we saw them just stand and stare at the passenger with no answers. We were travelling to the Mediterranean and when we got to our first port of call of Majorca, there was a huge rush to get off the ship. I think it was their relief just to stand on dry land. The general entertainment was weak. Two exceptional shows - The Dutch Tenors and the host ship group, The Epic Beatles. The rest were very unexceptional. The food was good and the bar staff and housekeeping were great. The rest were very rude and didn't seem to care about passengers concerns. We will never travel on ANY Norwegian ship again, as I believe management was where the problems stem from. I don't want to chance another disaster at sea.
Delay in refunding deposit – In early 2023 my wife and I booked a cruise around the Greek Islands for August 2024 on the Norwegian Epic. Due to circumstances we had to cancel the cruise. unanswered emails to get the deposit back. I'm sure that if I had not pursued this matter I would not have seen my money again. I have never in my life had to deal with the incompetence and ignorance of a company as I have in this time. I was promised in writing that the refund was being processed only to find that it was not. We plan on booking a similar cruise at a later time but it will definitely not be with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Loyalty is not always best – I love going on cruises and now have been twice on norwegian cruise line. But it seems loyalty is not always best and don't believe it's a sail because they say it is. Second guest free but again Second guest not free in fact they put up the normal discounts then say Second guest free so you are in fact paying full price. You may think how do I know this. It's because I get emails everyday from all different cruise companies and love to look at them everyday. I'm always looking for that great next deal and like looking at different itineraries. When I went to look at black Friday deals I found out Second guest free scam. You in fact pay less on a normal sale when they need to feel up the ships. Also when going to check out the site said Second guest free and all other free included extras but again at checkout you pick Second guest free and you then can't get the other free extras. This very much upsets me and last thing as I take my medication at night and due to issues I need to take with coke so it stays down. Last cruise I went on I paid for drink packages for soft drink. But to my surprise I had to pay ontop of drink package to take a coke back to my room to have with meds. Because of that I spent almost $200 in drinks for medication. So be careful. I have been ill for over 12 years now and cruises are the only thing that makes me happy and allows me to travel. I almost died after my last cruise when was in coma and have been waiting to find a great sale so I can go again. When I talked to someone about the double first cruise offer, was told that's how we get people. When I said don't you want loyalty over one off's was told that is what it is. I would love for norwegian cruise line to fix there mistakes. If they do I might cruise with them again. But staff on ship were great.
GET THE REFUND – This cruise line is garbage. We spent over $2500 on a cruise that was canceled due to covid. We made the mistake of taking a cruise credit instead of asking for a refund. booked the cruise in the first place, doesn't apply to most of the decent cruises they have for 7 days. Oh, and let's not forget that this cruise line is so small, that they barely have any cruises going out of Port Canaveral, which again, is the only place we like to go out of and part of the reason we booked the cruise we did. Now we're stuck with a credit, because now they refuse to give us a refund, and they don't have any decent cruises for us to book to use our refund. I honestly wish I could sell our cruise credits to someone else and never cruise with this cruise line. This was going to be our first cruise and since we have to use this credit somehow, it will be our last. I will never spend money with this cruise line again. If you ever have a choice, GET THE REFUND.
AWESOME – We cruised on the Norwegian Epic as few years ago from Rome 7 days around the Mediterranean Sea. What a wonderful experience. Had a balcony stateroom which was larger than normal (in other cruise lines). The bed was so comfy too. Food was exceptional with many choices & signature restaurants as well. Ports of call were fantastic.
north worth a star – Also the free 250 internet minutes part of the promotion offer was waste of money as we couldn't connect to the internet from the cabin at all. I enjoyed cursing but won't recommend NCL to my family & friends.
