brown sugar water all to no avail. We then tried a handful of different brands of formula, still no improvement. After reading good reviews here on Novalac Constipation we gave it a go. Well! Different child altogether! Worked by the afternoon on the first day we switched to Novalac! We compared ingredients and it appears to have everything the other formulas have but perhaps the increased magnesium is the magic ingredient. Although we buy it from the chemist, it doesn’t contain any medicines to help soften stools. So we have continued to use this now instead of shopping around. Every baby is different but this worked for ours. Very happy with this product.

help him out as much as i can and I couldn't be more happier he's going to toilet by himself I don't need to help him anymore I don't see him struggle anymore and the poo are softer and easier to pass. In saying that I still need to be very careful what he eats so I try to mix it up little bit of everything eg.baby food my cooking fresh fruit water ... just to make that much more easier on his tummy as soon as I see he doesn't do poos 1-2 days I would give him the infants laxatives to help him out so I don't wait to long and that happens rarely because my son does not really take baby food he prefers the cooking food all the time and loves his potatoes which is hard to digest and can cause constipation . Mums and dads you know your baby the best try everything that you can and see what works the best for your baby mix it up to suit your baby's needs and you will find something that works and if you don't just go to your GP there is a lot of help out there that can make your life much more easier and less stressful there is nothing worse seeing your baby in pain so stay strong and I hope this helps.

Constipation a try. Within a few days she was so much better. The taste and smell are a bit different to other formulas but our bub still drank it quite happily. There is no leveling out lip on the tin so you need to be careful about making the scoops level. The bottles also do tend to get coated in an oily film but a good scrub with hot, soapy water works effectively. This formula is only available in some chemists and is very pricey at $28-$30 a tin but for us it was the only option. I was a bit concerned about continuing to use this long term but a chat with our pharmacist and Dr put my mind at ease. This is still a complete infant formula, just designed to move through a babies digestive tract easier. Our daughter gained weight well for the 9 months we used it. She has just turned 1 and is now drinking a combination of cows milk and toddler milk with no problems. An excellent product for us with the situation we were in with our baby.

It worked just fine for my constipated baby. We tried A2 and bubs organic and both made him constipated. Finally I am happy with Novalac, no constipation issues and baby loves the taste. The only drawback is my baby has green poop and passes very smelly wind. Show details

Great for our Son – Honestly has been the best formula for my son, we started on Bellamy’s organic and it just made him miserable our ped recommended the Novalac constipation and has been the best fit. I tried to introduce Bellamy’s again slowly to see if ur was just coincidence however it was not. If your child has issues with bowels or looks uncomfortable I can’t recommend this one enough. Success and ease – My 7 week old son was badly constipated. On Coxyal drops from 2 weeks old, changed formulars. Tried NaN Comfrot and MumaMoo. Nothing changed. Drs appointments got told to add more water to his bottles, try actilax and movical. (They both made him badly vomit). Bit the bullet and tried Novalac. 4 days in and he is pooping normal. Novalac Constipation – This formula made my baby more and more constipated! It didn’t work for him at all, it made the situation even worse! I don’t recommend it for sensitive tummy and constipated babies! Switched to another formula and baby now is happy.

Worked well but expensive – After our baby was constipated we tried this formula and it was the only one that worked, its only 800gm and about $33 so I was always hoping to find an alternative and eventually we found a 900gm NZ brand for $19 that is agreeing with her. Worked perfectly – My little one had been on this formula from 2 weeks old as she’s was badly constipated she was crying, unsettled and squirmy after every feed and I tried this formula and after one bottle it had worked, the only downside is that you can only get it from a chemist, the price and after a little while my Bub started to get constipated again, but the pros outweighs the cons! Show details

BEST FORMULA EVER 2018 – Have had constipation with my girl since born, she is 2 and been on osmolax since April this year. I wanted to get her off the osmolax and decided to try novalac constipation this formula work right away amazing. Will never look back im so glad i did try it and wish i had used it much earlier.

Excellent product which relieves constipation (expensive though) – When moving in from breast milk my baby became quite constipated on formula. I tried a few different formulas with no improvements. It seems to taste the same as any other formula. As easy to prepare as any other formula. It is quite expensive in comparison to other formulas but I have a rewards program through my chemist so get a $10 discount after every 3 tins purchased.

Perfect – This formula is very easy to prepare I just make mine with like warm water not cold. My baby had problems with constipation while using another product but I found this one and started her on it my baby started going regularly after 3 days and has been going everyday since taking this product which is so good. A change with the first bottle ! – Bub was 3 weeks old when we discovered karicare 1 was making him very vomity, gassy and just very unsettled (could not breast feed) so it was recommended to change him to the novalac reflux. dairy intolerance so we tried a soy formula. He seemed more settled and less gassy but after a week he became very upset and super contipated with a very bloated belly, we tried adding coloxyl infant to his bottles but still no poops after three days. We changed to novalac constipation and from the first bottle he was calm and happy with no vomiting, or gas cramps, he started getting regular stools by bottle 3. Best formula fit for our little man after trying many different brands and types. Highly recommended.

Help a lot with constipation – I'm normally 100% breastfeed but my DD has a problem with constipation since start solid food. So, I try Novalac constipation to help her relieve this problem. I gave this formular oly 1 times a day (before bed at night) which is really helpful. She getting better. She poop every morning. This formular is very easy to prepare and easy to mixed even with cold water. My DD love it. No side effects on my DD. Very recommended

Life saver! – My 4 weeks old has constipation and reflux. She been using novalac constipation formula for 2 weeks now and its been great! But doesnt do much for her reflux which is fine. Her constipation cause more pain! She cries and strains alot during poopy time so I'll be sticking to this formula! Works wonder for her!

Good for constipated baby – We switched to this formula after had no luck with A2 and Aptamil Gold due to constipation issue. It's very light, easy to prepare, taste OK I guess since my baby is fine with it. I noticed that it looks more watery, based on the nutrition table, they look comparable to A2 or Aptamil

It does what it says – We had some trouble my son as he always seemed to be constipated. This formula worked for us and I will stick to it and it definitely helped us with constipation issues. I do not think that the baby noticed the change in taste. He liked it the same way as the other formula we used before.

Doesn't work for all babies – Easy to prepare. However didn't relieve constipation/soften stools as mentioned I used it for a week and no luck. Went to the gp and she suggested giving Bub more fruits and solid food as she is 10 months and that will naturally help. She didn't want to suggest any medications at this stage. All these formula are just an eye catcher and doesn't help everyone.

Saviour!! – My 11 week old was so constipated. I tried putting Coloxyl in his feeds but that didn't do much. He would go red in the face shoot his legs out straight and tense up. His belly was hard and he would cry nearly all day. Have been using Novalac constipation now for 10 days and I have a new baby. stools are soft and passing daily and above all he's so much happier and content. Am definitely sticking with it!

Awesome product – Great formula for babies that are constipated. I have been using this since my baby was 1 month old. It relieved her constipation and her poo is a much better constancy. unhappy, not now , since i have been using this formula. Honestly the change has been life changing for him and me. He is now very happy and settled This formula is very easy to prepare has excellent instructions on the amount to use for age groups and ingredients. I tasted all of the milks i made for my baby and this one was really sweet tasting compared to the others, that was really important to me. This product worked for my baby and his needs ,so i would highly recommend you give it a try.

Worked a treat – My 4 month old would go every 3 days or so and for 2 days was in discomfort. Tried the novolac constipation formula mixed with his regular formula for a day as it made him vomit, the following day he went twice and has gone everyday since just on his regular formula alone. It was like a cleansing.
