Novotel Brisbane Airport

Kudos to the Novotel Brisbane Airport and staff! Booked the hotel online, but the website had problems and the booking ended up being on the date on which I'd made the booking, not the dates I'd wanted the room. (This booking was an urgent last-minute affair). I discovered the booking error only when I went to check in at the hotel - very late at night & after a long flight. The hotel was full on my arrival and so could not accommodate me; however, the desk attendant did manage to find me alternative accommodation with another nearby hotel in their brand chain, and they also arranged a credit for me for next time I'm in town. Truly excellent service by the hotel staff but one star lost for their website problems.

Novatel dissapointment – Staff friendly and helpful. At a cost of $280.00 for one night. One person. I expected a pretty fancy room. I was bitterly disappointed. Room was small. Fridge wouldn't cool things. TV stopped working. Waited pne hour for a friendly staff member to come and repair it.Rips in the fake leather around the bed. Elevator was hot like a sauna. Shower rose kept dropping down. Room service food was nice but expensive.save your money and stay elsewhere
