I booked a room with my wife's gold membership and paid $80 extra for harbour views, only to discover that the new construction site blocked the view from our window. Several attempts were made via email to obtain a refund, but they were unsuccessful due to the poor service, so I gave up. So if you book a room, reserve the Pyrmont side and save $80.
