hope that it turns out ok. In my build the roofing contractor installed cracked tiles and bent the valleys which is pretty poor for a roofing contractor. I picked this up myself and not the builder. Good thing I had a single storey house which was easy for me to inspect. The LVL lintel over one of the windows was bent as it was of inadequate size, don't know how they got this wrong. Rather than fixing it straight away they just placed the plasterboard over it and covered it up hoping no one would notice. Unfortunately the entire ceiling dropped and the cornice then had a 40mm dip in the middle of the window it was very evident. Rather than fixing it properly they sent a guy twice to place pieces of soft pine to prop up the trusses. This took 6 months to resolve and get a new lintel installed after I told them this initial LVL was not engineered correctly. Its a good thing that I am an engineer and insisted they fix it properly if I just listened to them they would have left this undersized lintel which would have eventually cracked this is why I rate them as bad, they are professional builders and this should not happen. The roof trusses were not installed level. Obviously these guys don't know how to use a basic sting line. Two of them were sticking up too high and it made the roof look wobbly. They tried to fix this after I complained by packing the area either side. If you look closely it still does not look very good. I am building another home now and I did not even consider this company for my current build. If you use this company ensure you get the build checked out by a building professional prior to the final payment to ensure its structurally ok.
