Best bean grinder I have found – I have owned a number of grinders over the years, some fair some bad. Making your own coffee at home is messy enough without a grinder that spreads grounds "all over" the kitchen bench. This grinder is perfect. The grinder is a commercial grade machine made in Italy and is therefore more expensive than the usual run of machines - but worth it. I purchased mine in Brisbane about five years ago for $AU550 although I see they now sell in the US for more than $US600.
Grounds are collected directly into a "doser" on the front so there is little or no spillage. That got me "in" straight away. A handle dispenses the ground coffee straight into the basket for tamping.
A screw adjustment to vary the grind is very sensitive and ideal for slight variations in beans from different roasting houses.
The bean hopper holds 200 grams at a time and can be removed (with a little care) for cleaning.
If you're a "corfee" lover who makes many cups during a day, this will suit you. Grind, adjustment, ease of use, long lasting and reliable A little expensive
