Pool paint coming off – Nutech products used to paint pool sept 2020took 7 days to dry paint We used it on our pool One coat.paint coming off after a few months terrible. There is a legal battle now between nutech products and tradie.
Purchased in for $5,000.
Reasonable Quality Value for Money Roof Paint – Had a professional painter clean and apply two coats of this paint to approx 250m2 of a 39 years old bronze olive colorbond roof to match the roof colour of later house additions. A professional airless spraygun was used. Used Nutech Nuflex on the painter's recommendation as providing adequate performance for best value for money as the paint is 50% of the price of the Dulux equivalent. Very pleased with the result, looks great and no sign of flaking or other deterioration after 15 months of service. The paint touch dries quickly (around 1hr on a warm day) but remains a little tacky underfoot on very hot days for a few months. All metal roof paint seems to fade over time including the original colorbond finish so not expecting this paint to fair any better. If I get 10 years life from this paint I will be content. The paint also applied very well using a cheap DIY Wagner Flexio 585 air spraygun for later renovation and cleaning/repainting of a 50m2 carport colorbond roof.
Purchased in at Wesflex for $210.
- Painted Surface: Previously painted
This product has messed up our roof completely – We had our (orange) concrete tile roof painted professionally using Nutech products. Within a year or so the colour had faded completely and the paint started dissolving and flaking off. We were advised it was a faulty batch of paint. The roof was repainted (with Nutech products) and looked ok for a few years but is now almost orange again. We now have an almighty mess to deal with. Just grateful we don’t have to drink our roof water.
- Painted Surface: Concrete
Highly recommended roof tile coating – Had my 30yo cement tiled roof restored in 2003 using Nutech Nuflex paint and Maxi Point was used for the pointing. Apart from a little bit of moss on the southern side of the roof which could be cleaned off, 15 years later the roof still looks new. Both of the products have worked surprisingly well. The paint is still well attached to the tiles and there is no sign of cracking of pointing.
Would highly recommend supporting this small Australian company.
