Perfect smoothie maker

Earlier this year our old blender finally gave up the goose so we did a bit of research and settled on this NutriBullet 1000. We make lots of smoothies, so we didn't necessarily need the larger jug type piece you get with a traditional blender set up. I have seen these bullet blenders around for a while and I wrongly assumed they were just smaller blenders. I was wrong. It absolutely atomises frozen fruit so you don't need to worry about chunks of frozen banana or strawberries escaping the smoothie-making process. I have had it for a few months now and have not had any mechanical issues at all and it gets a good work out, at least two times a week. Show details

Sooo good, can't live without it

The NutriBullet Pro is awesome, for such a little unit it does great things, after having surgery I was on a liquid diet for 3 months and used it for everything from blending soups, smoothies and main meals. It crushes ice with ease and it comes with extra smoothie containers so you can prep for the day. Highly recommend it. Show details

The BEST blender on the market

Most people write negative reviews but I love my NutriBullet so much I have to leave a positive review. It’s powerful enough to handle crushing ice etc. It’s the easiest blender on the market to clean as every part unscrews off effortlessly to clean including the blade. The base is a million times better than the smaller NutriBullet for smoothies because it has no grooves or compartment to get food stuck into. Highly recommended. It’s only a four cup capacity so not a huge appliance which in my opinion is perfect for my husband and myself. They do make larger NutriBullet’s if you have a large family. Enjoy! Show details

Unscrews while blending!

I’ve been using my magic bullet 1000 a couple of times a week for two years and although it’s been great for smoothies and home made hummus, quite often it just unscrews itself from the base in the midst of blending no matter how tightly I screw the jug on or how hard I hang onto both the base and jug while blending.
You don’t realize it’s happening until liquid starts pouring out the sides and underneath through the leak hole onto the bench top. Then it’s a total pain to clean it all up and makes me so cranky!
It’s worse if I put even one or two ice cubes in with just a banana and oatmilk smoothie. Surely a 1000W motor should be able to handle one little ice cube?
I’m over it!

Lasted 2 weeks, can’t find local replacement parts

Regret buying this. Lasted 2 weeks before the gasket fell off when washing. Has been used to make 4 ice coffees (with ice cream, hasn’t even used ice yet). Tried to contact company to find out where I can buy replacement blades because I read that is what you have to do and have had no response.
I should have gone with the $50 one because Nutri bullet certainly isn’t any better quality and don’t have any sales follow up. Show details

Unbelievably bad

This blender worked fine for the first 3 months and then started leaking all over the place no matter how tight we ensured the cup was. After a few months we started to observe black powder like substance being ejected from the base of the motor. Contacted support and their response was to replace the blade as it’s mentioned to do so every 6-12 months in their manual. Wouldn’t have purchased had I known this was a requirement. Looked up the cost of replacement blades and it was $25 AUD plus $15 shipping. No thanks mate, I’d rather spend that money towards my next more reliable blender. What a joke of a brand! Show details

Ridiculous ongoing costs and inadequate customer service

When it works, it's good. However, you have to replace the base every 6mths. You cannot replace the bearings. There are no bases in stock and no reply from nutribullet.  Show details

Everything I wanted in a blender

I am extremely happy with this blender. It simple and easy to use. I only use it for smoothies and grinding coffee beans, and it works perfectly. The best thing about it is the low noise and great efficiency, it blends very quickly. It has not had any leakage at all. I love the 3 interchangeable containers that are dishwasher friendly
It sits securely on my kitchen bench , and looks great. Show details

Worst blender

This blender is the worst nutri bullet I have owned. My previous one was awesome and lasted for years. I have had this one for less than a year and it leaks every time I use it. I make sure it is closed tightly every time and it opens up and leaks everywhere. It doesn’t matter if there is ice in it or not. It makes such a mess. I would not recommend buying this blender.  Show details

Terrible yucky brown stuff and metal fragments in drinks

It worked OK for about 8 weeks and then started leaking horrible brown yucky stuff into drinks. I kept trying to clean around the blade and then it started smoking and metal fragments ended up in my drinks. The photo shows the metal pieces that I pulled away from under the blades. I'd never use Nutribullet again - too risky and dangerous.  Show details
