For the past month, I used the blender daily. Either once or twice. So on average, I will say 45 uses already. The blender is a beast. I mostly use it for smoothies but I did use it to make protein balls/bliss balls and once or twice a veggie soup.

The protein balls are what killed my previous blender so I wanted to make sure early on that this can handle the pressure of nuts together with dates that can make the mix quite sticky and thus quite difficult to blend. It championed on without an issue.

Smoothies with frozen fruit, ice etc everything mixed to perfection with not a lot of need for the stick thingie that you have on the top to swirl things around either.

The only thing that I noticed is that on the site they mention 2400W and the machine itself says 1600W. This is something that bothered me since the main selling point for me was the 2400W. I might be mistaken though but if someone can clear that up to me I would give it a 5 star.

The Optimum Slim works so well, easily blending up ice. The blender works so much better then another brand I previously used. Multiple smoothies made already using frozen berries. Highly recommended this blender. Show details ·  1

My blender arrived and I was very pleased with the size of it. It’s my second optimum blender. It did have an issue that was resolved quickly by the customer service The noise level Is fine and the suction pads in the feet are great. It makes a great smoothie. I received my new order with a visible scratch on one of the panels; clearly no quality control in checking your products before they are shipped to customers. Perhaps it was a demo product that was shipped to me. Show details

bought the slim line as it was advertised as “doing the same” as the others but it is quite disappointing. I make a raw cheesecake base cake with an almond and date base. This was super easily achieved in my old 900, unfortunately the slim line can’t handle the dates even after soaking them. The dates stick to the sides of the jug and miss the blades, the tamper is too short to push down the sides and it was super hard to clean. The blender itself became quite hot. And the functions are limited. Disappointed as it’s one of the more expensive blenders and lacks the performance.

Good blender - is slim and strong – Blends well and fast. It is essential to layer properly. I like the smoothie option which is allmwe have really used. Good small blender – Good smoothie marker. Crushed ice nicely as well. Does a much better then other brands with only four blades So far can't fault it. Easy to clean Show reply

choose the right option for me. This blender easily cuts through hard fruit, ice and vegetables as well as seeds and nuts. There is no gritty residue and definitely no chunks. People referred to it as loud but that’s just a tough machine working hard and it doesn’t last long. Should also mean a powerful motor with little chance of burn out. The deal also came with a smaller, portable blender which is great for the kids.

Good mid-range blender – Bought this blender after my previous one stopped working. it is a good blender. Takes up less bench space and it does what it needs to. I use it for smoothies every morning. Haven’t tried the ice crush function as yet, but I do use frozen fruit for smoothies and it works fine.

Happy customer – I am extremely happy with my new blender. It’s simple to use and easy to clean, and quieter than I expected. It fits perfectly snug on my kitchen bench. The display is easy to read. I can walk away from it while it prepares my smoothies. The size of the jug is good too, having previously used the baby Ninja, which was also a great little machine for small batches.
