NWG

Beware! NWG is misleading and overcharging customers. They make you believe your vehicle has features it does not, don’t provide a proper invoice, and require payment at the time of booking. I was referred to NWG by my insurance company (Budget Direct) to replace a broken windscreen. They called me the next day and told me my vehicle had ADAS features, saying the recalibration would be included in the price. They quoted $700 through insurance or $550 using the retail service and assured me the service would be the same either way.
I chose the retail service. NWG only replaced the windscreen and later claimed my vehicle does not have ADAS. For a simple windscreen replacement, I had a separate quote of only $250. Despite this, they refused to reduce the price. I had to take time off work to visit the workshop twice, only for them to confirm my vehicle does not have the features they initially said it had—and that they cannot refund my payment.
After all this wasted time and effort, they said the manager would call me. It has been over two weeks, and I still have not received a call.
As a bonus, I also now have two small dents above the windscreen after the replacement.

Avoid NWG !!! Recently I had a very bad experience with them. I had a windscreen chip repair completed by NWG at their Truganina (3029) location in October 2025. I raised concerns immediately after the repair, as it did not appear correct. I was assured by the manager that the work was done properly, covered under their lifetime workmanship guarantee, and that the windscreen would not crack. The repaired area has since failed, and a crack has spread from that exact point, resulting in the entire windscreen cracking. Despite raising concerns at the time and providing photos and invoices, NWG has REFUSED MY CLAIM. Their website too mentioned about lifetime guarantee on workmanship for chip repair . This is extremely disappointing, particularly given the safety implications and the assurances provided at the time of repair. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. I hope NWG takes responsibility and resolves this matter appropriately.
Unproffesional.didnt show up on agreed time and didnt even bother to call
NWG gave me a four hour window to wait around for their arrival and arrived 3 hours into that. My windscreen with a small 12cm crack at the side was removed, but the replacement one was the wrong size. So my windscreen now extensively cracked (with multiple top to bottom cracks) now was put back in and I was required to phone back up to make another appointment. Upon doing so they could only give me a four hour arrival window again. After confirming the appointment (for 3 business days later) I then waited around the entire 4 hours (again second time) with no one showing up at all this time. I called them and they had someone turn up an hour later. The sticky residue the first worker left on my car paint work wasn’t removed. The dash cam wasn’t put back on. Their chat function on the app, which they encourage you to use, stops being responded to after one message. Over the next TWO business days they SMSed me 6 times with the payment link and then on the second business day sent this message via SMS:
"We've attempted to contact you several times regarding your outstanding payment for the windscreen service completed on the xxxxx. As of today, the amount of ccc remains unpaid. If we do not receive payment or hear from you within the next 48 hours, we will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, which may include involving a collections agency or pursuing legal action. We strongly encourage you to resolve this matter promptly to avoid any additional fees or complications. If you are experiencing difficulties, please contact us immediately on XXX”
I was unable to SMS them in response. they have not as yet sent me an invoice for my records, just attached a receipt number to my order information.
