Horrible, they took our 50% ($8k) deposit and went into administration – They went into administration a few days ago and took our 50% deposit ($8k) which we paid in early August 2024. Very positive, would highly recommend – Shopped around 6 timber flooring suppliers in / around south-east suburbs of Melbourne. stock of. O'Brien were open to providing very helpful advice throughout the process and we decided to purchase through them. Delivery was prompt / on-time as planned too. We did hit a slight snag with some boards not fitting correctly early in the installation but this was a QC issue from the factory that O'Briens - and the floor installers - helped to resolve immediately by securing fresh stock in less than 24 hours. Overall, would highly recommend O'Brien Timber floors.

Rude customer service - stay away!!!!!! – I rang to enquire about timber installation and was told "we only install our own timber, okay" and was hung up on. Extremely rude and terrible customer service. Do not go with this company, they treat you like a piece of dirt - go elsewhere. If I could give them -5 I would. And if you are dealing with them and they treat you this way, I would encourage you to make a formal complaint.

Disreputable- DON"T USE THEM! – Absolutely do not recommend using them, very rude and unhelpful, would have gladly spent my money with them However, their customer service was unforgivable and i would never shop with them!!

Updated review – Update: Recently someone from obrien timbers contacted and got all the issues fixed. There were some levelling issues on the floor which have been addressed. problem since day 1. Not the best service or consultancy. Will never suggest to anyone. I spent a lot of money on this stuff. I suggest to look for some other vendor. Definitely not O’Brien Timber Floors.

Highly recommend this business – The process from purchase to delivery with simple and easy. Great range, great price and delivered without any problems. So happy with the quality of the flooring and extremely happy with the service. Take the time to see o’brien timber floors, you won’t be disappointed. The delivery driver even helped us load 70 20kg boxes into the house, which he didn’t have to do. Had the best attitude. Highly recommend
