OFF! Tropical Strength Insect Repellant

Does not do what it claims to do – We purchased this product ibn great hope as other repellants actually attracted flies. Guess what - so does this product. I smothered numerous extra applications all over my face, cap and clothing. It actually attracted flies. They kept getting between my eyes and by safety glasses and drove me mad.

Pump pack doesn’t pump!!! – Have 3 bottles of Off and none of them pump. Contacted manufacturer who gave me a list of things required for a refund. Really???? We are talking $20 worth of product. Will be shopping elsewhere.

Seems to work for sandflies but smells....! – I'm using this product for sandflies. If I reapply generously it seems to work. Sandflies hover but don't bite. However this kind comes in a spray bottle and when i spray it into my closed palm......the smell just feels like it it going down your throat...and in your brain....but beats being bitten by sandflies. So I give it 3 stars. I chose it because it doesnt have DEET which eats plastics.

Attracts flies - may kill mosquitos - who knows! – My husband purchased this to use whilst golfing. He told me that he sprayed it around his face to deter mosquitos on the golf course, but all it did was to attract lots of flies to his face!!! So, it's not a product which works in Queensland! The label says: non-greasy & lightly fragranced; active constituent: 191 g/L PICARIDIN. Up to 7 hrs long lasting protection against mosquitos.

Labels also says: "Repels mosquitoes [sic], flies, sandflies, ticks & other biting insects. (175 ml)
