Omega Altise OP408B

I bought this fan in March 2023, fantastic features with all the different modes and pretty quiet for night time use. Sadly it lasted a year before the low speed stopped working. I took it back to Betta who replaced it under warranty. It’s is now Oct 2025 and the first of the warm days (fan hasn’t been used since last summer) I turned the fan on, it started but then a burning electronic smell came out of it and it is no longer working (the lights turn on but the fan doesn’t spin) Pretty disappointed as it’s now out of warranty and I paid $150 for just over 2 yrs use (and that’s summer use only!!)
Follow-up · The Australian distributor advised that there is no post warranty repairs on the fan and they don’t carry / sell spare parts. They referred me back to the retailer who fortunately provided fantastic customer service. It looks like the motor burnt out probably due to bad design and no cooling of the motor when in use.
Purchased in at Betta Home Living for $150.
