When the water's hooked up it leaks a bit through the inlet, but no water comes into the machine when you start the cycle (makes me guess the valve is stuck somehow)
Hi our dishwasher isn't draining water just sits in the bottom please help
Good morning Nancy, if your dishwasher is not draining this would normally indicate that something has got into the pump and needs a service call, please give us a call on 1300 739 033 and one of our consultants will direct you to your nearest repairer. Thanks the team at Omega.
It gets worse now the dishwasher won't turn off . It just makes noise as soon as you plug it in without pressing the power button
As requested please give us a call on 1300 739 033. The team at Omega.
Hello had my dishwasher for years love it , now having trouble with my Power button feel it's need replacing , is this replaceable and will I be able to do myself
Mine is the run button. I persivere with it. Running my finger around the button a few times seems to work. I pull the front cover off to see what the issue is but thought it be best left to an expert.

Hi I’m trying to run a wash with the 2 plates symbol and the machine beeped as if it were finished but I can hear still water sloshing around and the light on the far right has been blinking ever since I heard the beeps. 1/2 hr ago.
Turn it off and check the water supply is on then just restart the same wash. It'll empty itself but let it run it full cycle. Also check the filter on the bottom.
Hi I turned off the DW at the front but it kept running. I turned it off at the power point. It’s not draining and the water is now running into the floor so the seal can’t be good either
Check the nut on the weir. The big thing that looks like a drain on the left hand side inside machine I have found these to be loose. I was talking to omega this morning coil also be a faulty inlet valve. I have one on my work bench at the moment probably not a bad as yours but similar
Hi, we have this bench top washer and it has been great. I accidentally put liquid detergent in it and it yesterday and it is signalling that it is leaking (flashing light above glass cycle). We have removed the soap suds but it still won’t run, it just flashes above the glass wash. Any ideas how we can get it working again? Thanks you
Sorry Bee, can't help you with this
Hi Bee, We currently do not possess an Omega dishwasher or Omega Owner's Manual, so I cannot provide a definitive answer to this question. I note that Owner's Manual online p.17 states that for "improper detergent" problems: Let detergent suds evaporate.Put 1 gallon cold water in tub (of dishwasher); close dishwasher; start any cycle to drain water from dishwasher. Also my wife, when she had a technical problem, got help from Omega Appliances on telephone 1300 795 572; current number is 1300 739 033; Sydney number (02) 9415 5000. There is no Melbourne number listed. Regards, Barry Goss
The flashing glass light is an error code for water in the bottom of the machine. This will be caused by the liquid detergent. Tipping the dishwasher to one side at about 45 degrees should remove the water from the bottom. If problem persists the switch could be faulty/water damaged
The connection to the tap does not seem to fit. Do I need a different connection? I don't know what to do.
Go to your nearest hardware store and find a fitting that's right for your tap and hose.
Although we do not currently possess an Omega machine, my recollection is that there are two types of fitting which suit this dishwasher. My wife went to Reece plumber supplies and obtained an extension which connected to the tap and also fitted hose thread of the Omega. Regards, Barry
Hi Lizzo, This is what I did. If you have a filter on your mixer tap, take it out and get a fitting from Bunnings which screws into the tap. This fitting is wide at the top and is skinny at the other end...your fitting should clip onto this. It fits on like a hose fits the tap in the garden....hope this helps.
Thank-you for all your replies, so all is not lost! I have tried Reece and they didn't have the fitting but used to. Off to Bunnings tomorrow...

I have had this product for 3 years now. It's been great for the whole time. However the other day, it just wouldn't turn on, so something to do with the power source. Other appliances work fine when plugged into the socket this usually plugs into and we have tried different power points and no go. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Sorry, no idea...sounds like you should call the manufacturer, might need a part. Btw I've had mine for 2 & half years with a 3 year guarantee...but I hope ir lasts longer....
its the power button itself. wiggle it as you push and if its not too badly deteriorated, it might start
I have a bench top DW101WA dishwasher. And it it beeping and all lights flashing , any idea what this means please?
The only time this happened to me, was because I had forgotten to turn on the water. The warning was enough to alert me there was a problem. Other than that nfi.
Hi Ann, I'm sorry, I dont know why it would be doing that. It could clogged? You may have to ring the omega people, if you can and ask them what the problem is. Or ask the store where you bought it, they might have an idea. I hope you can figure out the problem. All the best luck.
Hi, I went to burnings and couldn't find the thing to connect the hose to the tap. Anyone successful in doing this?
Thanks
Hi, My wife went to Reece plumbing supplies, and she took the outlet hose with her. The people at Reece were able to help, and her recollection is that she needed to purchase a new connector fitting for the tap to match the fitting at end of the hose. Regards, Barry Goss.
Where is the salt container on a DW101WA Dishwasher and how do I fill it?
There is no salt container and why would you need one. I've never heard of that on any dishwasher and I've owned a few, over the years.
I am not aware of the existence of a salt container on the Omega DW101WA, or any other dishwasher. There is a Rinse Aid Dispenser, located inside the door, next to the detergent dispenser. Rinse Aid enhances the final rinse and drying processes, and the Rinse Aid Dispenser is filled by removing the cap and pouring in liquid Rinse Aid (about 110ml according to Instruction Manual page 3). Kind regards,
Barry Goss
what is the rinse aid for and do i have to use it ?
The rinse aid is for drying glasses, etc without leaving water spots. I'd advise you to use it for every wash. If you put it in the dispenser next to the powder it emits enough each wash. I usually put enough in to last a couple of weeks (I wash every day and sometimes 2) and this seems to be ok. No need to buy the expensive brand which is between $10 and $15....I just buy the generic and it works just as well for $3. Good Luck!
My plates measure 27mm across , will they fit ? Dinner plates that is .
Hello Cathy, my dinner plates measure 26mm and I have no trouble. However I do have some large dinner plates 32mm and they are too high. However I have actually fitted them in when I have faced them backwards, but can only fit a couple with a full wash. You shouldn't have trouble with 27mm plates. Good luck!
Can you just use one hose? I just bought one 2nd hand and one of the hoses are snapped :( can I just use hot water and not worry about the cold?
Hi Ashlea, your question is quite interesting but wrong. If you mean the 2 hoses which attach to the back of the dishwasher, the answer is definitely NO!.. The 2 hoses are for carrying the water in and out if the machine, NOT for hot and cold. Omega recommends (clearly states), that only cold water should be used. I suggest you contact Omega to buy a replacement inlet/outlet hose. Having said that I just want to tell you I am so happy I purchased the Omega even though it sits on my bench. For a small dishwasher it holds a lot and washes everything sparkling clean. I use Aldi dishwasher powder and their rinse aid as I don't see the value of paying 4 times more for a "brand" and the make every shine. I chuck everything in and after 5 months constant use...every day (sometimes twice a day), it is fantastic. No dishes in the sink ir on the side....everything in the dishwasher so my kitchen is always clean and tidy. If one could be in love with an inanimate object, then I am in love with my dishwasher. I hope this has helped you.
Hi could someone give me the measurements of the bench top dishwasher? thanks. Sue
Looked at buying one from The Goodguys & being in a unit I too needed the dimensions.
They provided me with : w438xh550xd500. .
I have had this product for 3 years now. It's been great for the whole time. However the other day, it just wouldn't turn on, so something to do with the power source. Have tried different power points and no go. I have unscrewed cover but not sure what to touch next? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You should not tamper with any of the electrical circuits unless you KNOW what you are doing. Don't risk killing yourself or a family member!

Hi, can you comment on how well the unit will drain please? I was going to sit the unit on a small table next to the kitchen bench top (because I have limited space). This would mean the unit is sitting about 12 to 15 cm below the bench top, and at least a metre away from the sink - will the pump be strong enough to drain the unit properly?
I can't help you with that answer as I used to have mine sitting on the bench next to the draining board of the sink, so therefore at the same height. That would be a question for one of the other reviewers who (from memory) installed their unit under the bench. Hopefully they will answer your question.

Hi, Is it possible to attach this dishwasher to a mixer tap?
My tap is a mixer tap, it just screwed on the end of it.
you can get a little metal thingy that looks a bit like a garden hose fitting. It screws on and the dishy just clips right on there.
I've got a Corelle brand dinner set, does anyone know if the large plates fit? They are just a bit more than 25cm, I don't really want to buy another set.
Your plates should be fine. Mine are 26cm (and they are probably the biggest that would fit). Cheers.
Pump empties the machine but not working on wash cycle.. any ideas what could be the problem??
If the pump works at the end of the cycle, but does not pump to wash during the cycle, it will most likely be due to a circuit failure in the controller. This is not an area for an amateur! You need technical help from an electrician.
How is this machine intalled?
You don't have to "install" it. Just put it wherever you want it and attach the hose to your tap whenever you want to use it. It comes with all the attachments you need if you have a fairly standard kitchen tap/spout. Very simple and easy.
