Service non existent – Cooktop OK until I broke one of the igniters when cleaning over-zealously. Rang the service agent gave the exact model number and what was broken. They sent a guy out who checked the model number and left, charging $130. Returned a week later to install the part, again $130 for walking in the door plus time spent. igniter has to be held down for at least 20 seconds for the burner to stay lit. Got the service guy out again with another $130 to show up plus the time spent. Problem has slowly got worse over time but no way i'm paying these crooks just to show up and achieve nothing. In addition the little rubber feet in the trivets have a tendency to fall out and get lost while cleaning. Replacement cost for these little rubber feet? Trust me, you don't want to know. Stainless steel marks easily. Control knobs seem to attract gunk and are difficult to clean.

Discolour in just few days !! – We have started to use the cooktop in our new kitchen for a few days. One of the ring has discoloured for unknown reasons! Very disappointing! Has anyone got any similar experience and advise what I can do. Having done a lot of research in order to get to the right cooktop and this was recommended by Choice. with the cooktop, part of the surface has turned brown and cannot be cleaned. Very disappointing for a cooktop we have just used it for a few weeks after the new kitchen was installed !!

Omega gas cook top OG92XA – This cook top is excellent I love gas cooking its fast and easy to use. I would recommend Omega appliances to anyone best ever I had my kitchen redone and had a glass splash back put in my appliance looks great with the red splash back cooking is so easy. I can put a large frypan on the cook top and it does not touch the other flames just love it. Jennifer Rourke
