OptiSlim LCD Life Shake French Vanilla

I've gained weight, not lost! – The Optislim Life French vanilla LCD shake sounded tasty so I thought I'd give it a try. While I've found the flavour to be quite pleasant (and the consistency is "smooth" rather than gluggy, I've gained weight on these shakes not lost! One of the issues is that they leave me feeling unsatisfied, so I'm looking for snacks almost immediately. And that's not usually the way I do things. Maybe there's not enough protein for me? Reading through various reviews I note that Optislim Life shakes have been discontinued. If this range has been discontinued, I'm wondering why so... and indeed why can I still purchase them?
