My last Oral B (cheapest version at the time) lasted 8+ years and I only decided to update as the rubber part of the handle was developing black mould after years in the toothbrush holder. I didn't need to keep it on charge as it would last up to a month or so and saved having the cables on the vanity unnecessarily; I could also travel confidently… Read more

for 3 weeks without having to bring a cable with me. So disappointed in this $80 version which only holds charge for a week at most. Braun, have I purchased a lemon or has the quality of your product deteriorated?

The charging cable does not fit into the ‘travel case ‘ – I already have another OralB rechargeable toothbrush that I’m happy with. I bought this one purely because of the advertised ‘travel case’ included in the box, expecting to use it on my frequent travels. Found out after getting home however that the travel case does not include space for the charger. How is it a travel case if I then have to… Read more

carry the charger/cable in another bag/container when travelling? Very disappointed and will have to revert to using some plastic, kitchen type, container in the future.

Kids toothbrush is better than the Adult one ???? – I purchased an "Frozen" family edition Pro 100 electric toothbrush. So its a Kids version and an Adult version (which was for my 7yo son anyway) in one box. However the kids version has the 30 sec timer whilst the Adult (white) one is very very faint (I actually thought it was not working but Oral B technical department confirmed the function is… Read more

there but not as good as its suppose to be).

Its advertised on the box that both have the 30sec quadrant timer ... but the functionality for the adult one is very misleading.

I tried to claim "money back guarantee" however its going to cost me more in post to post it (can't return it in person) than what I purchased it for ($26).

At the end of the day its not the money .. but you would think the same model (Pro 100) / type (3710) would have the same functions.

I have a Pro 1500 myself .. which is great ... so I would suggest either - Buy the twin edition solely for the kids version - Purchase a high model with more features.

Weak motor – The motor is very weak. It's loud and sounds like it is straining. Very poor job of cleaning. It has very little in the way of features - such as a charge light. Do not buy this model ! You will be utterly disappointed. Show details

Why did I wait ? – I have been told by my dentist that I needed to take better care of my teeth, despite brushing twice daily and being an somewhat regular flosser. The issue was the toothbrush, manual labor isn’t as good as electric. So I tried a couple of them and it wasn’t bad just the same as the manual one. Until Woolworths had a promotion on, buy 5 heads and… Read more ·  1

you get the body for free!!! So that’s when it all changed, I bought the heads got the body for free and I started to use it. First try was all it took, I got my teeth so clean, it felt like I was just out of the dentist. I don’t know how but it works better than anything I’ve tried before. I use the floss head, and yes it does floss to a good standard, I still do my manual weekly floss but it’s almost not necessary. I am very please with this purchase. My only complaints are the holes in the head, they are connected so you can dribble toothpaste and spoil your shirt, the grip is some kind of rubber and I don’t know if it will last I would have preferred a full plastic body (more durable IMO) and there are no charge indicator so you have no idea if it’s charging or if you have charge left. Other point to mention is that it’s not really a timer, it doesn’t stop by itself it just let you know it’s been 2 minutes by having 3 small stops. That’s a good thing to me do I don’t have to press to restart, I just keep doing my brushing. I will see what my dentist says about my teeth at the next appointment but to me it feels good after each brush, and at the cost of the dentist I’d rather spend $50 to avoid having to pay for fillings.

Simple electric toothbrush – Not overly impressed. Does the job. Comparable to my 5 year old battery operated Oral B. Not much to talk about. Criss cross bristles and a rotating head do the job. A bit on the noisier side. No indication of battery levels while charging or while in use. 2 minute time that reminds you is a handy feature. Comes with a travel case. Show details

Not to impressed – Like some other reviews here, not up to the task. I have had one other oral b brush which was excellent. But this one seems like it hasn't got enough oomph in it. Charged it for 18 hours as per the instructions and it seems like it is going flat when l first used it. My wife's one is the same. So l guess you get what you paid for. Show details

Top heavy so needs to be kept in a cup – There's no faulting the performance of the Pro 100 as far as cheap electric toothbrushes are concerned. It works as good as any other in the lower-tier models, and performs as it should. However, it is a top-heavy toothbrush, which will see you continuously standing it back up which you'll find to be a tiresome inconvenience. The subtle breeze… Read more

generated from opening your bathroom door is enough to topple this over, and it annoyed me enough to buy a newer model with a sleeker shape - The Pro 700, which actually remains stood up.

So, if you're in the market for a low-cost lecky toothbrush, get the Pro 700.

Does the Job without fuss – I bought this recently on Amazon's prime day and am glad I did. It was inexpensive and does the job really well. It's got one cleaning mode, which I find enough for my use and is lightweight and easy to grip. Most importantly I found it gentle on my sensitive gums and very easy to use. I love the 2 minute timer which encourages brushing for right amount of time for teeth. All in all, one I would recommend.  Show details

Very disappointing – I have used Oral B toothbrushes for years, always been happy with the product, I dread the thought of cleaning my teeth with an ordinary toothbrush. My Oral B died so I purchased this one. I like the idea of the black handle...some handles in the past have discoloured. However I am very disappointed , plugged it in to charge, used it and thought… Read more

it wasn't charged properly. Then realised it just wasn't up to scratch, the other problem is the charge only lasts for one brushing then I have to recharge it. I am very unhappy with the product and would certainly not recommend it.

Not up to the job – We have been using oral-b tooth brushes for many years. Just recently we bought the new oral-b 100 to replace an older oral-b brush which was reaching the end of its battery life and slowing down. The new oral-b 100 turned out to be even slower than the one we threw away. Show details

Worth waiting for! – Having experienced bleeding gums for a long period of time, my dentist recommended that I purchase an electric toothbrush. that lets me know when I have completed the recommended two minute brush. Couldn't recommend this product highly enough and the travel case that it comes with is so cute. Retails at $70 but Coles regularly have it for half price, bringing the price down to $35!

Does what it's supposed to – I had the Vitality model for years and years, but the cord was getting a bit knackered so I threw down some coin on this one. The Pro 100 was considerably pricer in NZ than the Vitality and to be honest I have NO idea why. Was it worth the extra? Nope, but I'm just picky and really wanted an all white toothbrush! If you just want an electric toothbrush for clean chompers and don't care about the colour just get the Vitality for less money. Show details

Great toothbrush for the price – I pretty much just bought this toothbrush because it was pink and I couldn’t resist! It was to replace a much more expensive one that was nearing its end. Great investment in oral health – After using an ordinary toothbrush for years I decided to try this electric when it was on special. Battery lasts around one week and leaves a very clean mouth feel. My teeth are white and there is much less plaque build up

Can I live without it – Have used the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean for years $25 bucks with 2 brushes on sale. So yes we did buy the Pro 100 when it was on sale at $35 bucks. But It only came with one brush. Cleans just like the Vitality Precision clean - very good. Is the carry case worth paying an extra $10- and only 1 brush head? Show details
