Thank you for being seemingly the only provider of dog/cat food caring enough to source a complete organic diet for them. I was making my own but difficult to source the complete diet with organ meats etc and it becomes costly. The portion sizes are great with each portion lasting my cat about 2 days making this an affordable option for me. I add… Read more
a little broth/filtered boiled water to mine to ensure my cat gets enough liquids and to warm the meal slightly like it would be in the wild. I would love it if you would also make some organic cat treats!
Totally organic & dogs love it – My 2 Kelpies absolutely love it & I feel wonderful giving them this knowing how nutritiously good it is for them
One Fussy Eater Loves it – My boy who has tried raw before in other brands and would not eat them until warmed up a little loves this food. He eats it straight from the fridge and it is gone in a very short time. It is so good to know he is getting such quality food.
You get what you pay for ! – Premium food, my 12 months old girl refused to eat her big dog raw had to change and was lucky to be recommended this brand ! She was on big dog raw before but this is just superior she has energy less smelly Stools and she loves these ! However these are very expensive
Organic Paws is AMAZING!!! – Organic Paws has transformed my dog. It has helped with skin, coat & scratching too. It really is beyond excellent. There isn't anything else like it. Just look at the ingredients/range. I have tried the original blends of Lamb, Roo, Chicken and Chicken and Fish. Also tried the Green Tripe balls and the Lamb bones too. I wish I had… Read more
stumbled upon this from day one.
Sue and Sue are so lovely to deal with and very informative....Thanks a million.
It's very easy to portion and feed daily. Yes it slightly discolours as it has zero preservatives but this is not harmful in any way and it certainly doesn't change its quality.
Very frustrating to see people give it low stars due to portion size and handling...honestly!
Please only feed your pets a raw diet and Organic Paws is the one.
I could go on and on about this product and pet nutrition.
Thanks again Organic Paws.
LOVE THIS PRODUCT – I have tried SO many raw products in the past for my two fussy Maltese X and they turned their noses up at every single one. A friend recommended Organic Paws to me and kept raving about it so I eventually decided to give it a go, however was still very doubtful my girls would eat it. I bought the lamb recipe and was absolutely stunned when they… Read more
devoured the entire bowl in two seconds flat ! Their coats have improved since being on this product as well. Highly recommend.
Excellent product – My two dogs have had Organic Paws as a staple diet with raw meaty bones since they were puppies so for a total of about two dog years. I feed some of the other frozen raw meat products as well but this is the one the dogs prefer and they will always eat it first if other food is in their bowls too. The concern about fish oil in a previous review… Read more
prompted me to phone the business proprietor. She told me the cod liver oil is bought from a large company in The Netherlands who use the smaller wild caught fish which are less liable to toxin contamination. The oil is also stringently lab tested for safety re mercury and other toxins.
I have had no problems with the packaging or labelling. The 750g packs have to be partially defrosted to cut up and freeze in meal sized portions. Packaging in smaller packs would be convenient (I think I have seen some packs of 100g portions for sale) but inevitably would cost more so I am happy to continue with the 750g packs. I see from the Organic Paws facebook page they are going to have 1kg packs of meaty bones and I am keen to get those for my dogs.
Disappointing – I had the exact same experience as Jamie's, so I can concur 100%. It was my first time buying Organic Paws for my cat, I was very enthusiastic from what I had read about their story & product & that it was an Australian company. I bought the fish & chicken option, which turned out after being defrosted to be beef. My cat hates beef & wouldn't… Read more
touch it, so I had to throw it out, what a waste! As Jamie stated, the packaging is an inappropriate size for a cat, so I had so much left over in the fridge. I was going to give it to my neighbour for her dog but after being in the fridge for 1 day, the meat began to turn brown so I threw the container out.
Although I still had 2 containers left in the freezer (they come as a pack of 3) I was unable to return the product.
I am sorely disappointed in Organic Paws & ask that they improve their customer service & quality of packaging. Care & consistency needs to be shown here otherwise they will lose their customers.
What a terrible first experience, I will never be buying from them again.
Good product but a few problems that need to be addressed – I like this product but there are a few problems that need to be ironed out. People in pet shops and at vets are not educated by the company about it, so don't give you much guidance. The woman who answers the phone to give info, is hard to follow and goes on tangents, as well as having strong opinions that should be left to vets and vet nurses.… Read more
Sometimes but not too often you dont get the meat matching what is on the product box and no one wants to replace it - as you dont realise until its defrosted and I was informed it was highly unlikely it was the wrong meat in the box. Trust me, it has been. The packaging is bad and is occasionally damaged, for my dogs its a large enough amount but for my cat its too large amount to defrost. The lady/owner suggests you defrost it to a point where you can cut the meat and then cut the meat in half and put half back in the freezer. My vet advised strongly against this. I dont like the fact that there is fish/krill oil, with mercury in it. I dont think that should be added to an organic product. Better to use Flaxseed, regardless of the DHA etc debate. Pricing dramatically differs among retailers, which is frustrating.
